Mt of Olives

Jesus went to the Mt of Olive each year for Passover. Many families from the Galilee region would camp on this ridge each night and walk into the city each day.The Mount of Olive is a favorite spot for group photos.


Via Dolorosa

Jesus walked this route from Pilate’s judgment hall to the site of the crucifixion. Millions come to walk this path.


Chapel of Ascension

The book of Acts tells us that Jesus ascended into heaven. This site on the Mt of Olives is traditional remembered as that place.


Garden of Gethsemane

On the night he was betrayed, Jesus was on the Mt of Olives in the Garden called Gethsemane.

It was Passover and he knew his life was in danger. He also knew that he could walk up and over the Mount of Olives and in 10 minutes he would be in the safety of the Judean Wilderness.

But Jesus chose to stay and face the cross.

Groups come to the Garden of Gethsemane to remember how Jesus prayed on the night that he was arrested.


House of Caiaphas

The House of the High Priest Caiaphas was the scene of Jesus’ first trial.It was the place where Peter denied the Lord three time.Below the House is a cell where is it believed that Jesus was held overnight.


Upper Room

Groups gather in the Upper Room to remember the Last Supper. the Final meal of Passover which Jesus shared with his disciples. This is a beautiful place for groups to have song and devotions.

Located on the northern shore of the Sea of Galilee is the Mt of Beatitudes.On the plain of Gennersaret, Jesus delivered his sermon on the Mount.A beautiful Italian chapel has been erected on the site.

He was here for 18-20 months. More miracles performed here than in any other city. Jesus lived here in Peter’s Mother-in-Law’s house.
