Objectives: - Access to GrossMarkt - Access to Greenbelt - Tall office buildings as sound barrier - Flow of greenspace in residential area - Pedestrian friendly

This design was a group project in Germany. Each member of the group picked an individual area of the site to further develop. The area I chose was the northern area of the site near the train tracks. This area is designed to be a major boulevard surrounded by offices, mixed-use buildings, and residential.

Urban Village Texas + Studio

College Station, Texas

This was a group project and each group member picked a specific area to further develop from the master plan. My area was the central part of the master plan and the major commercial space. The design includes roof gardens, major gathering space, covered walkways, a major water feature, and a community garden.

Perspective of Plaza area

There are cisterns incorporated into this design in hopes to capture as much rain water as possible for reuse. Along with that there is an extensive roof garden on top of the commercial stores with elevators to allow access.

There is a retention pond located in the middle of the site and a community garden that helps to bring the

residents throughout the site together and make this area of the entire site a major gathering space.

Austin, Texas This project was an individual project on designing an area of our choice using music as inspiration. The song I selected was Mozart Concerto No. 11 in F Major. This song is very upbeat and has a very dynamic feeling to it. I focused on a formal baroque style of garden and also added terracing along the sides of the design. There are ADA ramps throughout the site to allow people with all abilities and disabilities to enjoy the space.

This design was for the front-yard of the Leal house. The yard had various empty space and was not visually appealing.

When picking plants for this area of Texas we needed to make sure the plants were appropriate for the USDA zone.

Professional Work

Working with Sweitzer and Associates gave me a look at the business from a commercial point of view. I worked on plan renderings, to planting plans, to section renderings and guidelines. Working with Sweitzer and Associates was a wonderful experience that helped me understand the business aspect along with the technical aspect of design.
