Our backyard….
Puchong and Batu cave landfill already full.
Batang Berjuntai landfill was planned for 20 years
operation. Closed after 6 years only. Beranang water treatment plant disrupted in Nov 2010
due to landfill leachate contamination
Klang valley residents alone discarded 2100M Tonnes
of solid waste in 2011, most of it are sent to land fills.
