10.1M firms are owned by women, employing 13M people, generating $1.9T in sales

3/4 of all WBOs are majority-owned (+51%), totaling 7.2M firms, employing 7.3M people, generating $1.1T in sales

Majority WBOs account for 40% of all privately-held firms

1 in 5 firms +$1M is woman-owned; 3% of all woman-owned firms make +$1M (vs. 6% of men’s)

In the past decade, privately-owned WBOs have increased TWICE as fast as those owned by men

Women small business owners will create 5-5.5M new jobs in the US by 2018 for a more inclusive, horizontally-managed environment

WBOs will create more than half of the 9.71M new small business jobs, 1/3 of the 15.3M total new jobs, despite currently accounting for just 16% of total
