1. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL FURNISH AND ERECT NECESSARY TEMPORARYDUST TIGHT PROOF PARTITIONS WHERE DEMOLITION IS REQUIRED TO PROTECTEXISTING EQUIPMENT, NEWLY INSTALLED EQUIPMENT, BUILDINGS ANDSTRUCTURES AND AS DIRECTED BY THE OWNER OR ENGINEER.

2. PARTITIONS SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED OF WOOD STUDS WITH PLYWOOD ORPOLYETHYLENE SHEETING. PARTITIONS SHALL EXTEND FROM A CLOSURE PLATE ATTHE FLOOR TO EITHER THE STRUCTURE CEILING OR A TEMPORARY CEILING. THECONTRACTOR SHALL FURNISH AND INSTALL ONE DOOR IN EACH ENCLOSURECOMPLETE WITH HARDWARE. SUCH ENCLOSURES WILL BE REQUIRED IN ALLAREAS OF DEMOLITION WORK AND FOR PROTECTION OF EXISTING EQUIPMENT ANDNEWLY INSTALLED EQUIPMENT.

3. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE AN ADEQUATE VENTILATION SYSTEM FORWORKERS AND FOR DUST REMOVAL. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ADEQUATELIGHTING AS REQUIRED FOR THE WORK.

1020 STRUCTURAL DEMOLITIONA. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SELECTING METHODS OFDEMOLITION SO THAT THE REMAINING STRUCTURE WILL NOT BE IMPAIRED ORDAMAGED.

B. SELECT METHODS OF TRANSPORTING DEBRIS THROUGH THE BUILDING WHICHWILL NOT OVERLOAD THE EXISTING OR NEW BUILDING.

1120 SUBMITTAL (SHOP DRAWING) REVIEW:A. SUBMITTALS (SHOP DRAWINGS) WILL BE REVIEWED FOR GENERAL COMPLIANCEWITH THE DESIGN INTENT OF THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS ONLY. IF ANYDEVIATIONS FROM CONTRACT DOCUMENTS BECOME APPARENT DURING REVIEW,AS A COURTESY, ENGINEER/ARCHITECT MAY MARK UP DEVIATIONS ON SHOPDRAWINGS DURING THE SUBMITTAL PROCESS. IT SHALL BE THE SOLERESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH THECONTRACT DOCUMENTS INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO QUANTITY, LENGTH,ELEVATIONS AND DIMENSIONS. B. SHOP DRAWINGS SHALL BE REVIEWED BY THE CONTRACTOR PRIOR TOSUBMITTAL TO THE ARCHITECT/ENGINEER. DRAWINGS SUBMITTED WITHOUTREVIEW, OR IF SUBMITTAL IS INCOMPLETE, WILL BE REJECTED AND WILL NOT BEREVIEWED. TRC WORLDWIDE ENGINEERING, INC. WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FORDELAYS CAUSED BY REJECTED DRAWINGS.

C. THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS WILL GOVERN OVER THE SHOP DRAWINGSUNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED IN WRITING BY THE ENGINEER.

D. CHANGES AND ADDITIONS MADE ON RE-SUBMITTALS SHALL BE CLEARLYFLAGGED AND NOTED. THE PURPOSE OF THE RE-SUBMITTALS SHALL BE CLEARLYNOTED ON THE LETTER OF TRANSMITTAL. ARCHITECT/ENGINEER REVIEW WILL BELIMITED TO THOSE ITEMS CAUSING THE RE-SUBMITTAL.

SHALL BE ASTM A615 GRADE 60 DEFORMED BARS (WELDABLE REINFORCING"DBA" SHALL CONFORM TO ASTM A-706 GRADE 60), FREE FROM OIL, SCALE ANDRUST AND PLACED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TYPICAL BENDING DIAGRAM ANDPLACING DETAILS OF ACI STANDARDS AND SPECIFICATIONS.
