GENERAL INFORMATION

BIDDING BY E-MAIL

The catalogue is found at www.cornwallct.org. Bids on any of the items can be e-mailed to [email protected] up to 9 a.m. on Friday, April 30th. Your bid will then be written down on the bidding sheet for the silent auction item that you want or given to Dave Cadwell the auctioneer who will enter it into the bidding for the live auction item. Only one bid may be submitted for each item. Please include in your e-mail the item letter and number, name of the item, your name, address and phone number. You will be notified by e-mail if you win, at which point you will submit your payment and let us know how you want the item shipped.

STATUS FOR INCOME TAX PURPOSES

Purchases are not tax deductible since goods or services have been (or will be) received in exchange for payment. However, if the amount paid exceeds the value of the item, the excess may be declared at the discretion of the buyer.

Donations to the Cornwall Child Center are tax deductible to the extent of their value at the discretion of the donor.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

All tickets, restaurant and rental offerings are subject to arrangements with the donors on dates they have approved of.

Unless otherwise stated, the time limit on services, restaurants and rentals is one year from the date of the auction, i.e. May 1st, 2005.

Tax, gratuities and alcoholic beverages at restaurants are the responsibility of the bidder unless otherwise indicated in the description of the item in this catalogue.

All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be accepted by anybody. Payment may be made in cash or by check made out to The Cornwall Child Center.

With the exception of winning e-mail bids, all items, including gift certificates, must be claimed on the day of the auction, Saturday, May 1st, 2004.SILENT AUCTION

A 16. Cornwall artist Jackie Saccoccio painted this gouache painting on paper. It is untitled (D42) and is signed on the back. The painting is framed in a custom-made bleached maple frame.
