We are one of the oldest private, family owned food companies in the country, having been in business since 1880. From our location in Sittingbourne, Kent, we manufacture a range of quality pickles, preserves and speciality foods that are enjoyed by families in the UK and across the world.

We take great pride in the quality of our products. All our ingredients are carefully sourced and selected and our rigorous production processes are continually monitored. So you can always be sure that the Opies label guarantees a top quality product packed with flavour.

As you would expect, our factory conforms to the highest standards in the food industry and we comply with BRC standard which is highly recognised within the industry and our organic products are all certified by the Soil Association.

We’re also the UK importer for Monin syrups, Coco Lopez cream of coconut and Clement Faugier chestnut range as well as sole importers for Ferns Indian pickles & pastes and Linghams Malaysian chilli sauces.

Combine all ingredients in a big wine glass on ice; strain and garnish with raspberries.

Hibiscus martini • 20 ml MONIN Hibiscus syrup • 5 ml MONIN Triple sec liqueur • 10 ml MONIN Lime Juice Cordial • 40 ml gin • 20 ml cranberry juice

Shake ingredients with ice cubes Strain into a Martini glass.

Hibiscus & berry mojito• 20 ml MONIN Hibiscus syrup • 5 ml MONIN Blackberry mojito • 35 ml light rum • 10 mint leaves • 2 lime wedges • Soda water

Muddle lime, mint and MONIN flavoring into a tall glass, add crushed ice. Add remaining ingredients and top with soda water.

Hibiscus Tennessee• 20 ml MONIN Hibiscus syrup • 15 ml MONIN Rantcho or lemon juice • 40 ml Bourbon • 20 ml white egg

Mix vigorously all the ingredients in a shaker full of ice. Strain in a chilled martini glass. In a rock glass muddle fresh lime with MONIN syrup, add crushed ice and cachaca. Stir and serve with a straw.

Passion and Hibiscus caiphirinia• 10 ml Le Fruit de MONIN Passion • 20 ml MONIN Hibiscus syrup • ½ lime • 40 ml cachaca

Top with soda water. Combine all the ingredients in a tumbler full of ice.

Combine ingredients in a tall glass filled with ice cubes.Top with soda water. Garnish with apple fan.

Hibiscus lemonade• 25 ml MONIN Hibiscus • 30 ml MONIN Sweet and sour

Heat MONIN flavourings in a toddy glass and top with green tea.

Fire & Ice• 20 ml MONIN Green Mint liqueur • 20 ml vodka • 2 drops tabasco sauce

Top with soda water. Combine all the ingredients in a tumbler full of ice.

Hibiscus refresher• 20 ml MONIN Hibiscus syrup • 60 ml red grape juice • 20 ml apple juice • Soda water

Combine ingredients in a tall glass filled with ice cubes.Top with soda water. Garnish with apple fan.

Hibiscus Mango iced tea• 20 ml MONIN Hibiscus syrup • 15 ml MONIN Mango syrup • 180 ml cold water

Combine ingredients in a tall glass filled with iced cubes. Stir and garnish with lime wedges.

Macaroon & Hibiscus shake• 20 ml MONIN Hibiscus • 10 ml MONIN Macaroon • 180 ml milk

Combine ingredients in a shaker filled with ice cubes. Shake and pour into a hurricane glass, drizzled with MONIN Le Fruit Red Berries.

Terms & Conditions

1 Definitions1.1 “Seller” means Bennett Opie Ltd of Chalkwell Road Sittingbourne Kent ME10 2LE1.2 “Buyer” means the person or Company who buys or agrees to buy the goods from the Seller.1.3 “Conditions” means the Terms and Conditions of sale set out in this document and any special terms and conditions agreed in writing bythe Seller.1.4 “Delivery Date” means the date specified by the Seller when the goods are to be delivered.1.5 “Goods” means the articles which the Buyer agrees to buy from the Seller.1.6 “Price” means the price for the goods excluding taxes.2 Conditions Applicable2.1 These Conditions shall apply to all contracts for the sale of Goods by the Seller to the Buyer to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions including any terms or condi-tions which the Buyer may purport to apply under purchase order confirmation of order or similar document.2.2 All orders for Goods shall be deemed to be an offer by the Buyer to purchase Goods pursuant to these Conditions.2.3 Acceptance of delivery of the Goods shall be deemed conclusive evidence of the Buyer’s acceptance of these Conditions.2.4 Any variation to these Conditions (including any special terms and conditions agreed between the parties) shall be inapplicable unless agreed inwriting by the Seller.3 Price and Terms of Payment3.1 The Price shall be the price set out on the Sale note. The Price is exclusive of tax which shall be due at the rate ruling at the date of the Seller’s invoice.3.2 In the case of a Buyer with a current approved credit account payment if applicable of the Price and tax shall be due within 28 days of the dateof the invoice. In all cases the Seller shall not be bound to deliver the Goods until the Buyer has paid for them on or before the delivery by wayof cash or Bank Draft or by way of cheque if such an arrangement is previously approved and agreed by the Seller. Time for payment shall be of the essence.3.3 Interest on overdue invoices shall accrue from the date when payment becomes due from day to day until the date of payment at a rate of 4%above Barclays Bank PLC’s base rate from time to time in force and shall accrue at such a rate after as well before any judgment.3.4 If the Buyer fails to make any payment on the due date then without prejudice to any of the Seller’s other rights the Seller may:3.4.1 Suspend or cancel deliveries of any articles due to the Buyer; and/or3.4.2 Appropriate any payment made by the Buyer to such of the Goods (or Goods supplied under any other Contract with the Buyer) as theSeller may in its sole discretion think fit; and/orh3.4.3 Suspend or cancel any credit account.3.5 The Seller shall be entitled to charge the sum of £40 plus tax in respect of each and every occasion that any cheque is not met on presentation.4 The Goods4.1 The quantity and description of the Goods shall be set out in the Seller’s Sale Note.5 Delivery of the Goods5.1 Delivery of the Goods shall be made to the Buyer’s address on the delivery date. The Buyer shall make all arrangements necessary to takedelivery of the Goods whenever they are tendered for delivery.5.2 The Seller shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatever due to failure by the Seller to deliver the Goods (or any of them) promptly or at all.6 Acceptance of the Goods6.1 The Buyer shall be deemed to have accepted Goods on delivery.6.2 After acceptance the Buyer shall not be entitled to reject goods which are not in accordance with the Contract.7 Warranties and Liability7.1 The Seller warrants that the Goods will at the time of delivery correspond to the description given by the Seller. All other warranties, conditionor terms relating to fitness for purpose, merchantability or condition of the Goods and whether implied by statute or common law or otherwise are excluded.7.2 No claims will be entertained unless notified to the Seller within 24 hours from time of delivery.7.3 The Seller shall be under no liability whatever to the Buyer for any indirect loss and/or expense (including loss of profit) suffered by the Buyer arising out of a breach by the Seller of this Contract.8 Retention of Property and Passing of Risk8.1 The Goods shall be at the Buyer’s risk as from delivery.8.2 In spite of delivery having been made title to the Goods shall not pass from the Seller until8.2.1 The Buyer shall have paid the Price plus tax in full; and8.2.2 No other sums whatever shall be due from the Buyer to the Seller.8.3 The Seller shall be entitled to recover the Price (plus tax) notwithstanding that title in the Goods has not passed from the Seller.8.4 Until such time as title in the Goods passes from the Seller the Buyer shall, upon request, deliver up to the Seller such of the Goods as have not ceased to be in existence or resold. If the Buyer fails to do so the Seller may enter upon any premises owned, occupied or controlled by the Buyerwhere the goods are situated and repossess the Goods. On the making of such request the rights of the Buyer under Clause 8.6 below shall cease.8.5 Until title in the Goods passes to the Buyer in accordance with Clause 8.2 above the Buyer shall hold the Goods and each of them on a fiduciarybasis as bailee for the Seller.8.6 Notwithstanding that the Goods (or any of them) remain the property of the Seller the Buyer may sell the Goods in the ordinary course of the Buyer’s business at full market value for the account of the Seller. Any such sale shall be a sale of the Seller’s property by the Buyer on the Buyer’sown behalf and the Buyer shall deal as principal when making such sales. Until title in the Goods passes from the Seller the entire proceeds of saleof the Goods shall be held in trust for the Seller and shall be at all material times identified as the Seller’s money.9 Construction of ContractThe Contract shall in all respects be construed and operate as an English Contract and in conformity with English Law. The headingshere to shall not affect the construction hereof.
