BACCARATEasy to learn and easy to play, Baccarat is a game to be enjoyed by everyone. A total of four cards are initially dealt. The first and third are the Player’s hand, and the second and fourth are the Banker’s hand. Once the initial cards are dealt and exposed, the dealer announces the totals for each hand and additional cards are then drawn in accordance with the rules. (A maximum of one additional card may be dealt to either hand.)

The object of Baccarat is to bet on which hand will have the highest value. The highest hand in Baccarat is 9 and the lowest is 0. Tens, Jacks, Queens and Kings are counted as zero, Aces count as one, and all the other cards count as their face value. So a hand containing a 9, 5 and a 10 equals 4 since the 10 counts as zero (9+5+10=14).

There are three ways to bet in Baccarat: the Bank, the Player and/or the Tie. If the hand ends in a tie, there is no action on the Bank or Player’s hand. All tie bets are paid 8 to 1. Each hand is dealt two cards. The total of the two cards determines whether a third card is drawn.

Baccarat RulesWhen Banker’s first two cards total 0-1-2: Banker draws unless Player shows a natural 8 or 9
