THE BAD NEWS VS. THE GOOD NEWS(It's all a matter of which report you believe)

    By Jeffrey D. Dean Sr.

    HOW CHRIST IS NULLIFIED

It's an old story. You can see the examples in literature (especially,of all places,Greek and other mythologies, science fiction and science fantasy genres). Aman comes along, prophesied to be a deliverer, he's a Messiah. Heaccomplishes his mission and hundreds of years later he's become a mythicalcharacter, touted as a "God." Worshipped, venerated. How is it that so manyauthors down through the ages could so easily put their finger on the heart

things? Because, a child could see the simplicity of it! When you look around inthe world today at all of varied teachings and "faiths" (as they are called, and Iuse the term loosely) surrounding the appearance of Y'Shua Messiah (calledJesus Christ by some) the stark reality will strike you and drive your very soul intodespair (if you let it). A man, born to a woman and a man, in a lowly manger inBethlehem. He apprenticed under his father as a carpenter, made himself of littlereputation, (even though his coming glory had been fortold and confirmed by thevery voice of Yahweh, by His angels and by His very Spirit). Y'shua, the mangrew up and, seemingly out of the blue emerged as the most contraversialcharacter in the history of mankind! His words largely misunderstood (ortwisted), his ministry buried beneath mountains of dogma and traditions of men,

until his very purpose was seemingly thwarted completely. By 325 ad (a fewshort 300 years after his life, death and resurrection) he was officially deified (I'msurprised it took that long) and his name was hijacked by evil men becoming atool to be used to subjugate peoples and make chattle of men.

While the children of error will say that he was "both all man and all God" theydon't really believe this. Not for a second. This contradiction can easily be seenin the doctrines created to bolster their position (Christ as God among men)! Itcan also be seen with the fervency in which they call "heretics" all who refer toChrist as a "man". Common sense dictates that if you call Christ "all God and allman" you cannot fault someone for saying he's a man! Common sense also

should dictate that if a man is really an eternal God, he's not really a man, hecannot be. Others who might not claim this "trinity" still make a similar mistake ina "compromise" of sorts saying he "pre-existed" prior to his birth as a man. Aminority of those who preach pre-existence actually believe he was "anotherGod" prior to his birth, yet the majority of those who deny trinity but preach pre-existence say he was an angel first, others, a "spirit being" (a celestial entity) butthe end result is still the same: namely, complete nullification of his ministry andhis work for which he died!

Proving the above claim will be easy to do using the scriptures. That is theultimate testimony to the depravity of the children of error who have secretlymade war against the Messiah (the Christ) while at the same time expressingtheir "adoration" for him. I don't need to utilize great swelling words of eloquence

to bear out the undeniable truth of my claim! I shant seek to use them (for I'm notout to impress people with my mastery of the English language). I will put thisforth simply and directly to the point!

If Christ is God (come down to earth in fleshly form) he is most definitely NOThuman! He cannot be subject to the same frailties and temptations that arecommon to the human experience. (Yet scriptures say he most assuredly wasand those who teach the incarnate God as man are hard pressed to explain thiscontradiction). Yet, if he truly was God come down to earth in fleshly form hewas not subject to the flesh, this should be self evident (yet the children of errorhave buried this logic in webs of lies, half truths, and rationalizations). Yet, as I

have said, even a small child can understand that a God in human form is still aGOD! Some might take exception to this and say that an all powerful God mostcertainly can become a man and walk among us! I agree! Yet, if an omnipotentGod decides to become a mere mortal man, he ceases to be ominopent (for menare not omnipotent and this God could not retain his omnipotence if he trulywants to be a man). If this God does not cease to be omnipotent then he is NOTA MERE MAN! (The children of error who tout him AS God will be the first toagree that Christ was no mere man, while at the same time saying he's "all Godand all man.")

The final question lingers: if God ceases to be God and becomes fleshly man

and then he dies for the sins of mankind, who is there to raise him up from thedead seeing that the God of the universe has left his omnipotence, abandoned it,became only a man and allowed his enemies to kill him? If Christ was all man,who raised him from the dead (being that he WAS God, left it behind andbecame all man)? If he raised himself after death does this not prove that henever left behind his omnipotence at all and was never truly a mortal, weak, frailman, for, what man raises himself from the dead?

Men have asked these these questions for centuries and have been told thatthey are "doubters." I submit that this is completely the opposite of the truth! The beginning of true faith lies in asking the above questions, in beginning toquestion the teachings of those who make Christ a God (and at the same timesay he was a man). One can never truly rise to the stature of Christ, norunderstand who he is, his position in the heavenlies, his mission here on earth, until one questions the very foundations of the errors surrounding him that haveswept the world.

Another looming question. If the children of error believe that Christ was BOTHall God and all man, why do they call them heretics who say that Christ was a

  • 8/3/2019 Bad News vs. Good News

    3/38

man? Why do they seek to villify the one who dares to believe he can rise toChrist's stature? Why do they call them mad? If Christ, indeed, was "all man"they have no choice but to accept that if Christ (being all man) could achieveperfect obedience and perfect holiness with the Father in his lifetime, then Christis the ultimate PROOF that man can achieve these things! So, why do those

who preach trinity deny it? Why, when you confront them with the scripturalproof of the possibility of being truly "like Christ" in every way they say things like:"you can't be like Christ because Christ was God?" When they are told that "youcan be perfect and holy, without sin," why are they the first to ask "well have youever known anyone to achieve this?" Don't they know their own Christ? They'vesaid he's "all man" and that he was "tempted in all ways yet without sin?" Yetthey ask why there is no example among the human population of a man livinghis life without sin! These very things alone are all the proof one should need toexpose the error of their ways when they claim to believe that Christ was "allman!" To them Christ does not count, for he is God, and therein lies the crux, theerror is lain bare for all to behold.

If Christ was "all man" as they claim to believe, they should have no problem withtreating Christ as a man, and therefore using him as the example of the potentialof man to be "like God." Yet, they say, "hold the phone, Christ could be like Godbecause he WAS God!" They are hopelessly lost for their contradictionscondemn their faith showing that is is impotent! They do not perceive, neither dothey believe, neither do they teach the right Gospel (the good news). They teachthat Christ came to save them from the "penalty" of their sin only and did notprovide a way for them to have true victory OVER that sin in this life! (Oh theyacknowledge the latter in theory only but deny it in practice). Some will look yousquare in the eye and say "you can't be holy and perfect in this life, brother for

you are in the flesh." They forget (or outright deny by omission) that Christ toowas in the flesh! He puts their disbelief to shame, proclaiming to all by hisexample that yes a man, living in a fleshly body, can overcome the lusts of theflesh, the desires of the eye, and the pride of life and can walk perfectly obedientto the Father! He proved them all wrong! So they make him a God at this pointin order to excuse themselves from following in his footsteps and say that hedoesn't "count" as an example of man's potential to be perfect.

They create grandiose doctrines. Pages upon pages, lines upon lines, explaininghow this could all be, and showing (at least in their own deluded minds) how thatChrist's obedience, his perfection, his complete lack of sinful behavior is the"ultimate proof of their argument that he is God." When they do this theyFOREVER BAR themselves or their children from repeating Christ's victory forthey are not "God incarnate" and, according to them, only God incarnate canachieve to sinless perfection! Do you see? I repeat! Do you see the horribletrap they have lain for themselves (and for their children)?

They can never be free of the sins of the flesh (like their Christ was free). Theyseek only absolution through the sacrifice that their Christ made by shedding of

    4/38

his own blood. They seek a righteousness that is by PROXY only, whereinChrist's righteousness is accounted to them as their own even while theymaintain their double minded lives of sin! They are ignorant to the fact that thesacrifice Messiah made was not just to deliver them from PUNISHMENT for theirevil deeds, but to make them WHOLE and literally "deliver them from sin's

power!" It has happened to them for a purpose! You see, they obviously LOVEtheir deeds of sin and their acts of contrition to the flesh! That is the realmotivation behind their denials and lack of faith in the power of God to rid them ofsin! They WANT to keep sinning and they have NO DESIRE to stop! How do Iknow this? Can I see into their hearts? Of course I cannot, yet their own wordsreveal the deepest recesses of their darkened hearts! The Gospel is called "thegood news" and I tell you now, the notion that you can NEVER stop sinning inthis life is ONLY good news to someone who does not WANT to stop sinning. Tosomeone who desires to be "like Christ" (tempted in all ways yet without sin) thenews that they will NEVER succeed (or "attain" as the Apostles called it) is notgood, it is very distressing news indeed. Their Gospel is not GOOD news it is

    therefore "BAD NEWS."

Perhaps they are content to simply live their lives never measuring up to theirFather's expectations and then happily enter heaven (their sins merely beingforgiven, not cured), but those who have the heart of the Messiah could NEVERbe satisfied in such a miserable state of existence! He who seeks therighteousness of God will not think it a good thing that it is forever denied them(denied because only a God incarnate could achieve such a thing)! Those whodesire to please their Father in Heaven in every way, and those who seek firstthe kingdom of God and His righteousness are not going to think it good news atall when they are told they shall never find what they seek!

They have forgotten (or ignored) the true ministry of Y'shua Messiah! They don'tunderstand the true purposes of the crucifixion! They comprehend not what itmeans to be "a new creature in Messiah Y'shua."

We will now examine, starting from the beginning, the scriptural testimony ofthese matters. The end result shall most certainly be that the true Gospel of thekingdom will be preached. It will then be up to the hearers of the word to take themessage to heart and take action to bring it about in them!

THE TRUE PURPOSE OF THE CRUCIFIXION

Y'shua Messiah (some have called him Jesus Christ) made the purpose of hiscrucifixion plain and clear to his disciples on the eve of his crucifixion! He left nodoubt in our minds to what end he now gave himself into the hands of the Romanexecutioners!

"Nevertheless, I tell you the truth, It is expedient for you that I goaway, for if I go not away the comforter will not come unto you, but if I

depart, I shall send him unto you." (St. John 16:7)

In the Gospel of St. John we find the only place in the New Testament where theHoly Spirit is called "the Comforter." This being the case, it behooves us to stopand contemplate its meaning because it is rare indeed to find a unique scripture

which stands out by itself in either testament of scripture! The greek form of thisword "comforter" is "parakletos" which means "intercessor, consoler, advocate orcomforter."The only way we are going to understand why Messiah chose, at this particularmoment to speak of the Holy Spirit in this way is to consider what was going onat the time he spoke it! What is the "context" in which the title "Comforter" isgiven to the Holy Spirit for the first and only time in scripture? Messiah wasabout to be crucified! His disciples were about to lose their teacher in a bloodysacrifice of his own body! The last supper was finished, Judas Iscariot hadslipped out to betray the Master to the Romans (and to the corrupted priests).Messiah was preparing them for the trials ahead and assuring them that they

would not be alone. It is also important to note that surely by now Messiah hadmade it known to the disciples that they would not have him with them physicallyforever. Messiah had hinted at this several times. In light of this, it'sunderstandable that Messiah would remind the disciples that even if he is notwith them in the flesh he would remain with them in Spirit. In St. John 16:7Messiah begins to tell them HOW this will occur, exactly. Yet, I'm jumping aheadhere a bit. The seventh verse of chapter 16 is not the first place Messiahmentions the "Comforter."

St. John 14: 15- 17"15 If you love me, keep my commandments.

16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you anotherComforter, that he may abide with you forever;17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees him not, neither knows him; but you know him;for he dwells with you and shall be in you."

When explaining why he must be crucified. Messiah says nothing about"propitiation" of sins, nor does he say anything about his blood "paying thepenalty for our sins!" You should find this startling in the extreme considering theemphasis the children of error put on these aspects of the sacrifice of our Lord!

What does our Lord say? That it is expedient (or absolutely necessary) for himto be crucified and he gives us the REAL purpose, so that he could send thecomforter "the Holy Spirit of truth" to us and not just to be with us, but to be IN us!Many questions arise as a result of Messiah's revelation to us concerning thepurpose of his crucifixion. Why did he have to be crucified to send the"comforter?" What exactly is this comforter? What is it's purpose? What is thedifference between this comforter and the Holy Spirit which had already beenwith man since ancient times? (As Christ said, "he dwells with you and shall be

    6/38

in you") If you recall, the prophets themselves wrote and preached by the powerof the Holy Spirit and the entire body of the Tanakh (old testament as some callit) came to us by the unction of the Holy Spirit!

"For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of men, but holy

men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit." (2 Peter1:21)

This is why Messiah says "another" Comforter. Men who were faithful to the holyone of Israel have always had the Holy Spirit with them! (And Christ reveals herethat the Holy Spirit has always served as a "comforter" to us). In one place in thetanakh (Old Testament as it is called) we are told that Moses was "filled with theHoly Spirit." Yet, Messiah reveals here something new, something that will cometo pass as a direct result of his crucifixion and blatantly tells us that in fact, this"other Comforter" is the very reason for his crucifixion. His shed blood provideda way for a new "relationship" with the Spirit of Truth, one in which the Spirit is

not simply "with" us but is "in" us! The apostles spoke of this as "the Mystery" butwe will get to that, but for now it's important to note that, to those who have thewords of Christ, this relationship is really no mystery at all!

Messiah explains that, not only does this Comforter come because of thecrucifixion, but also explains HOW men shall receive him (the Comforter), andthen explains the MINISTRY of the Comforter:

St. John 14: 23- 26"23 Jesus answered and said to him, If a man love me, he willkeep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will cometo him and make our abode with him.24 He that loves me not keeps not my sayings: and the wordwhich you hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.25 These things have I spoken to you, being yet present withyou.26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Fatherwill send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring allthings to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said to you."

Remember in Chapter 14 verse 15 Messiah says "If you love me, keep mycommandments?" Messiah repeats this in verse 23 (by saying "keep mywords") and then shows exactly how it will be possible to KEEP hiscommandments. The "Comforter" or the Holy Spirit will come and dwell IN us (asa direct result of the crucifixion and Christ sending the Comforter because he"goes to the Father.") This "Spirit of Truth" will mean that Christ and the FatherBOTH have made their "abode" in us! (Again verse 23). the children of errorallegorizes this (or some say "spiritualize" it, which is a misnomer for indeed it is

  • 8/3/2019 Bad News vs. Good News

    7/38

spiritual yet it is also literal). The children of error do not admit the literality of thewords of Messiah that Christ and the Father literally "abide" in us through theHoly Spirit. I know this because I have had literally hundreds of discussions withpeople (priests, pastors and laymen alike). They always want to question thevoracity of my taking this "abiding" of the Holy Spirit in me at face value and

daring to believe that Messiah and the Father literally live IN ME! Why do yousuppose this is? The main reason is because the children of error unanimouslyteach that the Father living in a man, and being "one" with a man is RESERVEDfor the SON OF GOD. All of the scriptures where Christ identifies that the Fatheris "in him" and that he is "one with the Father" they use to prove his DEITY! Thisleaves NO ROOM for the common man, such as myself to believe or teach thatthe Father lives "in me" literally and bodily through the gift of the Holy Spirit. Yet,the scriptures supporting the idea are OVERWHELMING!

The children of error pay "lip service" to the indwelling of the Holy Spirit but theycan NEVER accept it's literal implications, not without destroying their arguments

for the DEITY of CHRIST, for, if the Father is in me and I am ONE with theFather, then Christ's claims that the Father was "in him" and that he is "one withthe "Father" are no proof at all that he is DIVINE! It really is as simple as that!Yet, their denial has far reaching implications, unto the damnation of their ownsouls and I will demonstrate this thoroughly in scripture, for you see, if Messiahindeed died so that the Holy Spirit could literally DWELL IN US (so that HE andthe FATHER would make their abode in us) when they deny it they are quiteliterally denying and thus NULLIFYING the very purpose of the crucifixion!

In verse 26 above Messiah outlines the WAY in which the Comforter empowersus to "keep his commandments." ... he shall teach you all things, and bring

all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said to you."

The Comforter, the Holy Spirit of truth is literally THE WORD OF GOD, and wehave the power of this word INDWELLING! It's like having the written word, thescriptures, alive and well INSIDE of us! It's actually not "like" that it "IS" thatexactly! Every word Messiah ever uttered during his ministry came, not ofMessiah, but came of the Father, by way of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, andnow, that same gift is being offered to the FOLLOWERS of Messiah! This isanother way we know that the children of error are paying only lip service to theindwelling of the Holy Spirit, for they teach we must have an earthly minister, priest, teacher, pastor! They DENY that the believer has the Holy Spirit to teachthem of all things! They created an heirarchy of Cardinals, Bishops, Priests,Sunday School Teachers, Pastors and if anyone dare say to them "I don't needyou, I have Messiah in me I have the Holy Spirit to teach me of all things" theywill be pronounced an heretic, a madman, and a "rebellious unteachable spirit."

I believe that many now reading this will decide that I have taken it over the limithere! They will call me an "extremist." Yet, I can PROVE beyond any doubt thatin fact the honoring of the teachings of men and priests, DOGMAS and

DOCTRINES is the greatest TESTIMONY against them that they haveNULLIFIED the CRUCIFIXION!

1 Corinthians 1: 17"For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel; not

with wisdom of words lest the crucifixion of Christ be made ofnone effect."

The Apostles all understood the purpose of the crucifixion was to send the HolySpirit into the believer's heart so that each of us could be "taught of God" directly! Here, Paul states that if he were to preach the gospel with "wisdom of words" hewould nullify the crucifixion. Yet he had MORE to say on this matter to theCorinthian church.

    1 Corinthians 1: 23- 24

"23 But we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews astumblingblock, and to the Greeks foolishness.24 But to them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christthe power of God and the wisdom of God."

Again, Paul clearly understood that "Christ crucified" means the sending of theComforter to "teach all things." Yet, he says even more to drive it home:

1 Corinthians 2: 1-10"And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency

of speech or of wisdom, declaring to you the testimony of God.2 For I determined not to know anything among you, exceptJesus Christ, and him crucified.3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in muchtrembling.4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing wordsof man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of

power.5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but inthe power of God.

6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yetnot the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that comes to nought:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even thehidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world to ourglory:8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they

  • 8/3/2019 Bad News vs. Good News

    9/38

known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.9 But as it is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neitherhave entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath

prepared for them that love him.10 But God has revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for theSpirit searches all things, yes the deep things of God."

How far have the the children of error strayed from the Gospel of the crucifixion. They preach "atonement" and forgiveness of sins ONLY, they do not teach thePOWER, which is the Holy Spirit, dwelling in the heart of the believer, teachingand leading and guiding us to perfectly emulate Messiah and to LOVE him and to"keep" his commandments in that love! They deny it outright in all of theirtraditions, teachings, and their entire heirarchal system, their every deed is awalking contradiction of this one simple truth of the "mystery" which the Apostlesidentified clearly as "Christ in you, the hope of glory."

Colossians 1: 26-29"26 Even the mystery which has been hid from ages and from generationsbut now is made manifest to his saints:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of thismystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in allwisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.29 Whereunto I also labor, striving according to his working, which worksin me mightily."

How have they missed this for so long? How do they read scripture afterscripture which tells them that indeed the Holy Spirit lives IN US (and thereforeMessiah and the Father are in us). How do the children of error say things like"God being one with man is occultism?" The answer is as simple as thequestion. One must BELIEVE in this Gospel and in the abiding of Messiah INyou or you cannot see it! (And if you do receive it you have no excuse for yoursin). Paul had a bit more to say on this subject to the Corinthians and he did soin his second letter to them:

2 Corinthians 3: 2- 6"2 You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:3 Forasmuch as you are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God;not in tables of stone, but in the fleshly tables of the heart.4 And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward:5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves;but our sufficiency is of God;6 Who also has made us able ministers of the new testament; not of theletter, but of the Spirit: for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life."

  • 8/3/2019 Bad News vs. Good News

    10/38

We are living "epistles" (letters) of Christ himself according to the above verses. If you believe that Christ is "the word of God" and you believe Christ dwells inyou and is manifested by your deeds of the flesh (by the power of that self samespirit) you then have to accept that you have become "the word made flesh" to a

dying world! The written word of God is made up of "epistles" and we become"living epistles." We therefore become "the word made flesh." This is considered"heresy" by the children of error! That is how far they have strayed from thetruth! They draw near the indwelling of the Holy Spirit with their lips and mouthsbut their hearts are far from it! They read the above verses and do not see theirtrue implications! You can point it out clearly to them and they will argue with youtooth and nail concering the "interpretation" of the verses. Yet, no interpretationis necessary. There is a common theme in scripture when the Holy Spirit andour relationship to the living God BY His Spirit are discussed! When we teach, preach and hear the word of the Lord it is not by "letter" it is by the Spirit, for theletter kills, it nullifies! In other words, according to the Apostles we all have Christ

in us, by the Spirit, leading and guiding us into all truth and even if the world wereto wrench our Bibles from our hands they cannot take the word from us! He isalive in us.

The children of error have never accepted the reality of this, the literality of it all,nor can they for, if they do, they would have to admit that the followers ofMessiah become "the word made flesh" even as Christ was the word made fleshand that destroys their teachings of TRINITY or of the Deity of Christ! If mereman can be made "the word made flesh" than Christ being the word made fleshis NO PROOF OF HIS DEITY AT ALL!

NULLIFYING THE NEW COVENANT IN MESSIAH'S BLOOD

By denying that, through the crucifixion, we have the same "oneness" connectionwith the Father made available to us by the Father's own Spirit dwelling in us(even as he dwelled in Christ) they have destroyed, not only the purpose of thecrucifixion, but the very ministry of Christ (to die in order to make it so). They arebreakers (and deniars) of the New Covenant.

Hebrews 8: 10-11"10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel afterthose days, says the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them

in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me apeople:11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour and every man hisbrother saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to thegreatest."

Again, this "Comforter" who comes to abide IN US as a result of the crucifixioncomes to "teach us of all things," and there is no need for us, having received

this, to be taught of men! (How far away are the children of error from this withtheir weekly sermons, priests, pastors, Bible seminarians, scholars, and popularauthors?) I've had many a discussions concerning this very thing with them andthe end result is always the same, they DENY the truth of it outright and makeme into some sort of madman, radical, oddball, or worse! Yet, the scriptures are

full of continuity on this subject and they cannot be broken! It is the everlastingGospel. Furthermore, John wrote in his first letter and stated emphatically thatany "spirit" that denies Christ in you is that spirit of ANTICHRIST!

1 John 4:1-4"1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whetherthey are of God: because many false prophets have gone outinto the world.2 Hereby do you know the Spirit of God: every spirit thatconfesses that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

3 And every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is comein the flesh is not of God: and is that spirit of antichrist, whereofyou have heard that it should come, and even now is it alreadyin the world.4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them;because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world."

There can be no doubt that WE are the "flesh" in which Christ "is come" in theabove passages. It's why he says "greater is he that is in you." Messiah diedthat he could send the "Comforter" who already dwelled WITH us, and that

Comforter would be IN us. (He made that clear). The children of error can notteach this LITERALLY for if they did their entire TRINITY teaching unravels. Ifwe, as mere mortal men, can live with the fulness of the Holy Spirit of the livingGod IN US, and we become ONE with God the Father through this (and one withMessiah) then all of the scriptures that say Christ is "one with the Father" are NOPROOF AT ALL of his Deity! Rest assured, brothers and sisters reading this, that is indeed the crux of the matter!

Many might say "nothing here says that God is IN us!" Well, you didn't read farenough, then.

1 John 4: 12- 13"12 No man has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwellsin us, and his love is perfected in us.13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hasgiven us of his Spirit."

I submit to you now, the scriptural proof of the truth of what I am teaching here isentirely contained in the above two verses! Our LOVE (through the Spirit) is the

  • 8/3/2019 Bad News vs. Good News

    12/38

ultimate proof that God DWELLS IN US. Furthermore, that love is "perfected." Ifwe live in perfect love we cannot sin (anymore than Messiah could sin being thathe lived in the Father's perfect love). Finally, we know that not only God dwells inus, but we in him. These are the same things Messiah said of himself, and thosestatements are used by the children of error to prove Christ's deity, yet those

same things are true of US, thus destroying the Trinity arguments completely!

    MORE ABOUT THE COMFORTER

Let's look once again at Messiah's own testimony concerning the purpose of hiscrucifixion and the sending of the Holy Spirit of truth to live in us and make usONE with the Father (and with him).

St. John 15: 2626 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send to youfrom the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceeds fromthe Father, he shall testify of me:"

The Comforter is a "witness." He testifies of Messiah! He's not just an"advocate," not just an "intercessor" he's a witness! We will look at the import ofthat later.

St John 16: 8-16"8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin and ofrighteousness and of judgment:9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and you see meno more;11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.12 I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bearthem now.13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth is come, he will guideyou into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; butwhatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will showyou things to come.

14 He shall glorify me; for he shall receive of mine, and shallshow it to you.15 All things that the Father has are mine: therefore said I, thathe shall take of mine and shall show it to you.16 A little while, and you shall not see me: and again, a littlewhile and you shall see me, because I go to the Father."

The Comforter comes to convince the world of sin and of righteousness andjudgment. He also comes to "guide" us into "all truth." In verse 13 Messiah sayssomething of the Comforter in US that he said of himself, namely that the wordshe spoke were NOT his own, but whatever he heard of the Father those were thewords he spoke to us! Now, he states emphatically that we will have the SAME

relationship with the Father as he did! He goes even further in verses 14 and 15saying that the Holy Spirit offers to us EVERYTHING that the Father has!Messiah says that "all the Father has is mine" then says that he shall receive of"all that the Father has" and give it to us! Trinitarians in particular have forcenturies used Christ's claims that everything the Father has is HIS as PROOFthat Christ is DIVINE. Yet, here is Messiah promising that WE TOO will have thesame relationship with the Father as he did! The children of error thereforecannot take this literally without destroying the proofs of their Trinity doctrine!Still think I'm making mountains out of molehills when I show how far children oferror have strayed from the purpose of the crucifixion by teaching that Christ isGod? They can't even acknowledge the true purpose of Messiah crucified

without destroying their divinity of Christ doctrines completely! They are in anhopeless state of affairs!

    MAN BECOMES ONE WITH GOD

So, we now know through Messiah's own words that we have available to us anew relationship with the Father in Heaven, by his own Spirit dwelling IN us(rather than just being with us). This is the exact same relationship that Messiahhad with the Father, that through the inward dwelling of the Father's own Spirit(the comforter) we are ONE with the Father and ONE with Christ (even asMessiah was ONE with the Father).

St. John 17: 6-11(Messiah prays to the Father concerning his followers)6 I have manifested your name to the men which you gave meout of the world; yours they were and you gave them to me; andthey have kept your word7 Now they have known that all things whatsoever you havegiven me are of you8 For I have given to them the words which you gave to me; andthey have received them, and have known surely that I came out

from you, and they have believed that you did send me.9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them whichyou have given me; for they are yours.10 And all mine are yours, and yours are mine; and I am glorifiedin them.11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in theworld, and I come to you, Holy Father, keep through your own

name those whom you have given me, that they may be one, aswe are!"

Here were have Messiah clearly praying that we shall be ONE with the Father, even as he is one with the Father. The children of error can never accept this,

for Christ's statement "I and the Father are one" has been used by them forcenturies as proof that Christ is God, Divine! Now, we see that mere men canalso be "one" as well! Not convinced?

St John 17: 21-23"21That they all may be one; as thou, Father, are in me, and I inyou, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believethat you have sent me.22 And the glory which you gave me I have given them; that theymay be one, even as we are one:

23 I in them, and you in me, that they may be made perfect inone; and that the world may know that you have sent me andhave loved them as you have loved me."

WE ARE SENT IN THE SAME WAY CHRIST WAS SENT

The trinitarians and those who preach "pre-existence" of Christ like to point toChrist's testimony that he "came out from the Father" and was "sent fromHeaven" as their ultimate proof. Yet, Messiah states that just as the Father"sent" him into the world so he now sends us!

It starts with them not having a right understanding about the role of the HolySpirit to "lead us and guide us." The children of error take exception to the factthat we have no need for an earthly teacher! Inevitably, they point out Romans10: 14, which says they must have a "preacher" in order to believe upon thename of the Lord to "contradict" what I am saying!

Romans: 10: 13-14"13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall besaved.14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have notbelieved? and how shall they believe in him of whom they havenot heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?"

In typical fashion they quote the verse without reading what comes before andafter in order to glean it's true intent. I've been saying that under the newcovenant in Messiah's blood (via the crucifixion) we have no need for a"preacher," no need for a man to teach us saying "know the Lord," and indeed if

you do not understand the ministry of the Holy Spirit we receive as the result ofour faith then their argument from the above scripture appears to be a strongargument. However, read the very next verse.

    Romans 10: 15

And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written,How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of

peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!"

In final analysis, the problem becomes a lack of understanding as to what itmeans to be "sent." This is the greek word "apostello," it's where we get theword "apostle" in English! The Holy Spirit was "sent" from Heaven. (1 Peter 1:12). Messiah was "sent" from the Father. (St. John 5:24, 5:30, 5:36, 5:38,6:57, 7:29, 7:42, 8:42, 9:7, 10:36, 11:42, 17:3-25). All of the above referencestell us that Messiah was "sent" by the Father directly (using the same wordapostello). Trinitarians and those who desire to prove a "pre-existence" ofMessiah before he was born use the scriptures that state that Messiah was"sent" from Heaven as their proof, but they have a problem. John the baptist wasalso "sent" (apostello). St. John 3:28 and 3:34 Furthermore, and moreimportantly, Messiah made it clear that in the same way HE was sent into theworld by the Father he now sends US into the world!

St. John 17: 16- 18(Messiah prays to the Father concerning his followers)16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.17 Sanctify them through thy truth, thy word is truth.

18 As you have sent me into the world, even so have I also sentthem into the world."

The children of error focus on the purpose of the cross as simply Messiah payingthe "penalty" for our sin, so that he could be the "propitiation" of sin. They teachthat the crucifixion was for "sanctification" and they do have many scriptures thatsay this to pick from. However, as we see from verse 17 above it is the WORDthat sanctifies! Messiah died so that he could send us the Holy Spirit, theWORD, to dwell IN us. In these verses here in John 17 we see the exactmoment when Messiah requests that the Father send us the Holy Spirit to dwellin us! We also see that in so doing we are "sent" even as Messiah was sent.

Many Trinitarians and pre-existence teachers like to point to Messiah'sstatements that he was "not of this world," yet here in verse 16 we see that hisfollowers are "not of this world" even as he is not of the world! Being "sent" ofGod, and not being of this world in no way means that we pre-existed with theFather in heaven before our birth, nor does it mean that we are God incarnate.Being the word made flesh doesn't mean this either, for indeed, if we have theHoly Spirit dwelling IN us and we are SENT into the world to "preach" as it iswritten in Romans, that makes us fleshly examples of the Word to men!

  • 8/3/2019 Bad News vs. Good News

    16/38

Remember I said that the Holy Spirit is a "witness?" That's how it happens. TheHoly Spirit becomes the FIRST witness of Messiah and when the Holy Spirit is inus and speaks through us we become the SECOND! The witness of TWO is trueand that is why the Holy Spirit is "the Spirit of truth."

Not convinced that we are sent of the Father?

St. John 20: 21"Then Jesus said unto them, Peace be with you; as my Fatherhas sent me, even so send I you."

Now I ask all of you Trinitarians and those who preach that Christ "pre-existed"and literally "came down to earth from Heaven," how is it possible for us to be"sent" of Christ into the world in the SAME WAY Messiah was sent? If Messiahwas IN heaven, literally, then was "sent" down to earth (which is the classic waythe verses have always been interpreted) HOW in the WORLD are we going to

be sent "even as the Father has sent" Messiah? It's impossible! Messiah laystheir teachings into the dust here completely, by saying that he was a man andwas "sent" of God by the Holy Spirit in him and the same thing is now happeningto the Apostles! There's no way around it!

You cannot "preach" the Gospel unless you are "sent" in this way according tothe scriptures in Romans quoted earlier. They simply don't know what it meansto be sent " (apostellos). They think it simply means that you are sent on anerrand (and indeed it does mean that, however, you MUST have the Holy Spiritdwelling IN you bodily in order to be sent in the same way the Messiah wassent)! The children of error dare not teach this (and it is the very GOSPEL), for, if

they do they admit that Messiah being "sent of the Father" is no proof at all thathe was "God incarnate" nor is it proof that he "pre-existed" with the Father. If itwere then NONE of us could be "sent" even as the Father "sent" Messiah! Theirdogmas have forever barred them from preaching the Gospel of our Lord for ifyou don't believe a man can be "sent" in the same way Messiah was sent (andcertainly they cannot believe this for they believe Messiah existed in Heaven firstthen was sent to the earth), then you cannot believe in the "sending." If you don'teven have a right understanding of what it means to be "sent" you cannot be"sent" to preach the Gospel. How indeed shall they call upon the name of theLord and be saved by the children of error seeing that none of their preacherseven believe in being "sent" (in the same way Messiah was sent) and cannot

have been "sent" of God because of their lack of belief?

Thankfully, we still have the scriptures and the Apostles themselves can be thesecond witness to us! (It was not always so for in the dark ages the Catholicchurch did not translate the scriptures into the common tongue and only theirpriests could read scripture). Now we see the true work of the Devil to try androb us of the gift of the indwelling Holy Spirit and thus his futile attempts toNULLIFY the crucifixion of the Messiah! Today we still have scripture, but the

children of error everywhere are trapped in a system upon which they rely. Asystem which teaches them they must "be fed" of men, priests and pastors frombehind pulpits! The literal indwelling of the Holy Spirit is paid lip service to but isdenied by doctrine and tradition! It's nothing new, for Isaiah wrote of this verything and Messiah quoted him directly!

Isaiah 29:11-18"11 And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of abook that is sealed, which men deliver to one who is learnedsaying "read this please," and he says "I cannot for it is sealed."(It's a "mystery)12 And the book is delivered to one who is not learned saying,'read this please,' and he says 'I am not learned."13 Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people drawnear me with their mouths and with their lips do honor me, but

have removed their hearts far from me, and their fear toward meis taught by precept of men:14 Therefore, behold I will proceed to do a marvelous workamong this people, even a marvelous work and a wonder, forthe wisdom of their wise men shall perish and theunderstanding of their prudent men shall be hidden."15 Woe to them that seek deep to hide their counsel from theLord and their works are in the dark and they say 'who sees us,who knows us?'

16 Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemedas the potter's clay: for shall the work say of him that made him,'he made me not?' and shall the thing framed say of him thatframed it, 'he had no understanding?'17 Is it no yet a little while and Lebanon shall be turned into afruitful field and the fruitful field shall be esteemed as a forest?18 And in that day the deaf shall hear the words of the book andthe eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out ofdarkness."

When the children of error deny the indwelling of the Holy Spirit (and thus denythat we are "sent" even as Messiah was sent) they turn the Gospel upside down.It becomes BAD news instead of GOOD news. They preach that God no longerSEES our sin! That even though we live our lifetimes caught up in the ways ofthe flesh the blood of Christ "covers" our sin so that God is no longer even awareof it! (They say "who sees us and who knows us"). Their precepts and dogmasdo not come directly from the Holy Spirit in them (for they teach that the HolySpirit was IN Christ alone and that proves he was God incarnate). Do you see

the insidiousness their error? How they have attempted to ROB the believer ofthe POWER of God? Do not think that it is a small matter and do not bemistaken into believing that they will not give account for this! Shall the thingframed (preachers of doctrine) say of him that framed it 'he had nounderstanding?" (or this doctrine is from ME not the Holy Spirit). Their own

testimony concerning them who came before (their teachers) is that they did nothave the Holy Spirit literally dwelling inside of them (for they teach only Christhad that, and it was the proof of his Deity)! Why should you believe ANYTHINGthat came out of their system seeing that they testify of their forefather's thatthose men framed doctrines without being "sent" of the Holy Spirit in the sameway Messiah was sent? You'd be crazy to give heed to ANYTHING they say intheir seminaries! They admit openly that they are false prophets! Some evensay that the "revelatory knowledge it took to write the Holy Bible" has "vanishedaway" now that the Bible is finished! Yet it was the HOLY SPIRIT which was thatrevelatory knowledge. They don't even acknowledge that this Word is even atwork IN man anymore! Why would you follow them in light of the testimony of

    the true Gospel?

Messiah quoted these verses against the Scribes and Pharisees! (The hypocritesof his day).

Matthew 15: 7-9"7 You hypocrites, well did Isaiah the prophet write of yousaying,8 This people draw near me with their mouth, and honor me withtheir lips; but their heart is far from me9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines thecommandments of men."

It has been the way of the hypocrite for eons! Ignore the Holy Spirit completely, venerate the prophets and teachers of old who dared to believe they could heardirectly from God, make them the "exception" not the rule so that you areexcused from following in their footsteps. The Pharisees did this with theirprophets who gave them the scriptures and the modern children of error havedone this with their Christ as well. Preaching wisdom of men and precept, doctrines, men's commandments adding line upon line and tittle upon tittle and inso doing they attempt to NULLIFY the purposes of Messiah! They shall not

prevail, however. It is all in vain! They shall continue on even though they haveliterally denied the Lord who bought them with their precepts yet we now enterthe days of the final end, when the mystery of Christ in you shall not only beknown but shall be finished! The Devil will lose and all of his children he hascreated to thwart the purposes of Messiah shall lose with him!

Yes, the children of error do teach the Spirit dwells in them but do they believe it?How can they? For they teach that the Holy Spirit indwelling in Christ was "proof

of his Deity!" We are not "God incarnate" and therefore, according to the error, the Holy Spirit can NEVER dwell in us to the extent he dwelled in Christ, yet theGospel says that indeed the Holy Spirit can and WILL dwell in us in the samefulness as he dwelled in Christ and in fact that was the very purpose of thecrucifixion to begin with! They are denying the Gospel while paying lip service to

it! You see, the children of error mouth the truth of the Holy Spirit but their heartsare far from it!

How do I know what is in their hearts?

Luke 6: 45"A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forththat which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure ofhis heart brings forth that which is evil, for out of the abundanceof the heart the mouth speaks."

What can be more evil than to thwart the MINISTRY of Christ? To nullify hispurposes? To deny the POWER of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in all thesaints? To say that you can "never stop sinning?" To say that you can nevertruly "be like Christ" for Christ is God incarnate? To say that the works Christperformed on this earth (works of righteousness and obedience to the Father)were proof that he was DIVINE and in so preaching forever bar the followers ofChrist from repeating those works? I can think of nothing more evil on the face ofthis earth!

We do know what is in their hearts by their flapping gums!

Their own words (doctrines) bear testimony concerning how far they are from thetruth of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. All one has to do is examine theirteachings, their traditions, their "conclusions," to see how far they have departedfrom the truth of the gospel! The children of error focus on the "sacrifice" of thecrucifixion, and more specifically the "propitiation" of sin by Messiah and the"escape" from the penalty of those sins (grace through faith). This could beforgiven if they did not take the next step, which is to DENY the power worked inus through this propitiation and this "sanctification" or "atonement" of Messiah'sblood. (Remember sanctification comes by the WORD according to Christhimself and without that word "the Comforter" dwelling in you to the extent hedwelled in Christ you have neither the Word, nor the sanctification).

They teach openly that once you receive this sacrifice you are "saved" or "shallbe saved" and end it there. If they simply ignored what is the end result ofreceiving the sacrifice of Messiah I could excuse them of this error, but no, theygo so far as to DENY there is any other result other than "forgiveness of sins!"Not only do they make no mention of the final result (which is ultimately victoryOVER the sin in our flesh even as Christ had victory) they call "heretics" those

who teach the truth, that one can walk even as Christ walked in this lifetime"tempted in all ways yet without sin." The children of error sell all of mankindunder a "fleshly curse" of going from sin to sin for the rest of their lives and evengo so far as to say that is why Messiah died, so that they could be forgiven of thislifestyle of sin while they continue in it! They teach that NO SACRIFICE can take

away the sin completely (which is completely contrary to the word). They teachthat Messiah's sacrifice of himself once and for all was a better sacrifice than theshedding of blood of rams and bullocks (and so it was) but the reason they givefor why this sacrifice is better is shocking. They state that one who sacrifices ananimal on an altar for the forgiveness of sin is STILL IN THE FLESH SINCURSE, (and indeed they also agree that one who receives the blood sacrifice ofMessiah is still in the sin curse as well). Furthermore, according to them, whether you receive an animal sacrifice or the glorious sacrifice of the Son ofGod, you still go forth cleaned by the sacrifice only to become stained once againby NEW SINS. They teach that Messiah's sacrifice is BETTER because it onlyneeded to be performed ONCE, thus relieving those who receive the sacrifice of

the "guilt" of "all of their sins" once and for all (even if that person is still trappedin the flesh afterward going from sin to sin). They teach that once you receivethe "atonement" of Christ's blood "on the cross" you then have "no condemnationfor sin" (even if you continue for the rest of your life IN that sin).

Yet, they don't really even believe their OWN doctrines on this matter, for theysay Christ's sacrifice paid the penalty once and for all for ALL of your sins (past, present, and future) and has forever relieved you of the guilt of that sin, yourconscience is clean, your "washed by the blood," your sins are "covered by theblood" and God no longer SEES your sins but only sees Christ's righteousnessbecause his righteousness is "imputed" to you as your own. They teach all these

things then erect monumental ways for you to "confess your sins" constantly, encourage you to confess them and have myriad of traditions on how to "askforgiveness" for your continual sins! The obvious question is, if they truly believetheir present and future sins are "covered by the blood" and God no longer seesthem WHY CONFESS THEM? Why ask for forgiveness for sins that God doesn'teven know exist? It's ridiculous, isn't it?

They do not understand that we are sanctified by the WORD (which dwells INus)! Without this Spirit of truth IN US (in the same way he was in Christ) we haveno sanctification! Without believing in the testimony of the Son of God that heshall SEND the Comforter to dwell in us (even as the Comforter dwelled inChrist) the crucifixion is of NO EFFECT to them! They do not know that thesacrifice of Messiah was better than the blood atonement of animals not justbecause it needed to be given only ONCE, but because it has the POWER torelease those who receive the sacrifice from sinning, to make them "perfect."

    THE HOLY SPIRIT SACRIFICE

The children of error do not realize that although forgiveness of sins (atonement)

  • 8/3/2019 Bad News vs. Good News

    21/38

is "good" it simply is not good enough! Israel under the OLD law had forgivenessof sins (atonement). It's not enough to have your sins "atoned" for. Atonementcannot bring you the kind of salvation that Messiah promised! If it could,Messiah's crucifixion was completely unnecessary! Why? God the Father hadalready given us the means by which our sins could be atoned! The sacrifice of

rams and bullocks on the altar was perfectly effective to atonement! If justbelieving in the atonement of the sacrifice and receiving it brings salvation thenthe entire work of Messiah was in vain, for the scriptures (even the NewTestament) bear witness that the sacrifices of Israel on the altar indeed could"wash away" your sins and provide an avoidance from the penalty of those sinsthrough atonement!

Hebrews 9: 13-14"13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats and the ashes of anheifer sprinkling the unclean sanctifies to the purifying of theflesh:

14 How much more shall the blood of Christ who through theeternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge yourconscience from dead works to serve the living God?"

The children of error teach that the law of purging through the animal sacrificeand shedding of blood of the innocent could not bring forgiveness of sins andsanctification! This is a lie and the writer of Hebrews bears out the deception ofthis by stating flatly that the blood of bulls, goats, and sprinking of the ashes ofan heifer indeed DOES sanctify to the purifying of the flesh! I repeat, the childrenof error are just flat out lying on this point! They teach that Christ died because

the animal sacrifice couldn't really bring forgiveness. Lies, all lies! The childrenof error teach that because the animal sacrifice was without power to purge yourconscience (guilt) we need Messiah to die, and he once and for all purged themof their conscience (even though they continue in sin long after Messiah died forthem in the same fashion those who sacrificed animals on the altar alsocontinued in sin afterward). They have replaced the shedding of animal bloodwith the shedding of human blood and claim that the shedding of human blood(of the Son of God) is better to remove your guilt (even though you continue inyour sin with no hope of ever stopping the dead works of the flesh)!

What an insidious evil is this doctrine! They use the blood sacrifice of the

Messiah as a way to "sear their consciences," saying that Christ paid the penaltyfor ALL of their sins, once and for all, so they could CONTINUE IN THEM andstill be saved! It's not what the writer of Hebrews had in mind!

Hebrews 7: 19"18 For there is truthfully a disannulling of the commandmentgoing before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a

better hope did; by the which we draw near unto God."

Under the old law of atonement (through animal sacrifice) the people had noHOPE of ever ceasing their sins. They had to repeat this atonement year afteryear because they would be washed clean but then the sin remained (and with

the sin the conscience of that sin). The Holy Spirit sacrifice of Messiah once andfor all, however, brings us a "new hope" of being empowered by the indwelling ofthat self same spirit to walk WITHOUT sin! To be made "perfect" even as theFather in Heaven (and as Christ) is perfect! This is why the sacrifice of Messiahwas "better!" That truth is born out over and over again in Hebrews!

Hebrews 9:1-9"1 Then truly the first covenant had also ordinances of divineservice and a worldly sanctuary.2 for there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the

candlestick, and the table, and the shewbread; which is calledthe sanctuary.3 And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called theHoliest of all;4 Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenantoverlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot thathad manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of thecovenant;5 And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercy seat;of which we cannot now speak particularly.

6 Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests wentalways in to the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service ofGod.7 But into the second went the high priest alone once everyyear, not without blood, which he offered for himself and for theerrors of the people;8 The Holy spirit thus signifying that the way into the holiest ofall was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle wasyet standing:

9 Which was a figure for the time then present, in which wereoffered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him thatdid the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience:"

The only "problem" with the old law of atonement according to the writer of theHebrews letter (aside from the fact that the people of Israel didn't really KEEP theold covenant) was that the sacrifice and service could "not make them perfect."The service and sacrifice of Messiah, however, is far more powerful for it brings

    the "hope of perfection."

Hebrews 9: 11"But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come bya greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands,

that is to say not of this building,12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his ownblood entered in once into the holy place, having obtainedeternal redemption."

The children of error teach that our sins are not literally taken away by the bloodof Christ, only the conscience or guilt of them is! Whereby, one who sacrificedanimals on the altar in the old law still had a conscience when they sinned, thechildren of error do not! I know, that is incredible in the extreme but I assure youit is how they interpret the verses in Hebrews. They are made "perfect" by proxy.

Christ kept the law FOR THEM and died to pay the penalty for their sins so thatthey could be relieved of the GUILT of those sins while they continue on sinninguntil the day they die! There is no "hope of perfection" in the teachings of thechildren of error, they deny it openly and if you teach such a thing you are calleda liar and an heretic because they teach plainly that ONLY CHRIST was or couldbe perfect and without sin and teach that his perfection and sinlessness are thePROOF THAT HE IS DIVINE!

They have removed the very purpose of Messiah's sacrifice to begin with, whichwas to make those who come unto the sacrifice "perfect," by the indwelling of theHoly Spirit. Messiah himself bearing this out by saying "it is expedient for you

that I go away for if I go not away the Comforter shall not come to you." Thechildren of error twist the ministry of the Holy Spirit, by siezing on this word"Comforter" and making it to mean that even though you live your life going fromsin to sin you always have the Holy Spirit there to comfort you that you are stillgoing to Heaven, you are still saved despite your sinful behavior! Nothing couldbe farther from the truth! Messiah did not die so that we could continue on in oursin free of the guilt of it! What a twisted version of the Gospel!

Messiah died so that he could send the Holy Spirit to live IN us and he, that sameHoly Spirit would "reprove" us of our sin and bring us the hope of VICTORY overthe sin (not just victory over the penalty of the sin)! We now have the hope of

Christ in us, the hope of glory, the hope of becoming "like Christ" (tempted in allways, yet without sin). Thus, Messiah destroyed the works of the Devil by hissacrifice!

thereunto perfect.2For then would they not have ceased to be offered? becausethat the worshippers once purged should have had no moreconscience of sins.3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made ofsins every year.4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goatsshould take away sins."

The shedding of Messiah's blood has within it the promise of the "taking away ofsins." Not just the taking away of the "guilt" of them! The children of error teachoutright that the only difference between the old law sacrifice and the sacrificeand blood of Messiah is that the shedding of animal blood could not sear thepeople's consciences (when they continued in their sin) but that Messiah's bloodDOES sear your conscience so that even though you do exactly what Israel did

under the old law (continue in sin) you have no conscience of guilt for your sins! This is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit for the Holy Spirit lives IN us by that sameshedding of Messiah's blood and he (the Spirit) is sent to reprove us of our sin!In him, in the Holy Spirit is no sin and anyone who lives in sin and has noconscience of that sin certainly cannot be living BY the Spirit! This is selfevident!

Hebrews 11:40"God having provided some better thing for us, that they withoutus should not be made perfect."

The above verse clearly implies that those who are "with us" SHALL be madeperfect! That is why the sacrifice of Messiah is BETTER! Not just because itwas made "once and for all to save us from the PENALTY of sin" but becausethrough that sacrifice we are delivered the power to have our sins "taken away"completely! We have the hope of perfection and holiness through his blood andwe press forward to the mark, full of faith that we shall attain! The children oferror teach this is IMPOSSIBLE, teaching the grave error that as long as you are"in this flesh" you shall NOT be free of sin, that ONLY MESSIAH could be free ofsin and this is the proof that he is DIVINE!

Hebrews 13: 20-21"20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead ourLord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the bloodof the everlasting covenant,21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, workingin you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through JesusChrist; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen."

The perfection of the saints via the blessing of the Holy Spirit in them (which wasthe purpose of the shedding of the blood to begin with). That is the commontheme all throughout Hebrews! The children of error focus on the "atonement"and the "forgiveness of sins" (which indeed is vital to receive the inward Holy

Spirit) but they stop there! They don't see that if forgiveness is all we receivefrom the death of Messiah his death was unnecessary because we already hadforgiveness under the old law. The children of error would answer, "yes, but theycontinued sinning and living with the guilt of that sin and the sacrifice had to berepeated year after year." The same can be said of the modern Christian (exceptthe part about repeating the sacrifice). They teach that they NEVER stopsinning. There is no difference, therefore, in their minds, between the sheddingof animal blood under the old law and the shedding of human blood under thenew covenant except that the shedding of animal blood was done over and overagain and the shedding of Messiah's blood was done once and for all to relievethem of their conscience! They still have their sin (even as the Israelite still had

his sinful flesh after the animal sacrifice was finished) the only difference, therefore according to the Christian, between the Israelite under the old law ofatonement and the Christian under their twisted version of atonement is that theIsraelite still had a conscience and still felt guilty for his sins but the Christiandoes not! That is a very scary prospect indeed! Serial murderers are said tohave no conscience! It is scary!

Jeremiah 7: 1-10"1 The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,2 Stand in the gate of the Lord's house and proclaim there thisword, and say, Hear the world of the Lord all you of Judah, that

Amend yourways and your doings and I will cause you to dwell in this place.4 Trust not in lying words, saying, The temple of the Lord, Thetemple of the Lord, The temple of the Lord, are these,5 For if you thoroughly amend your ways and your doings; ifyou thoroughly execute judgment between a man and hisneighbor;6 If you opress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow,

don't know;10 And come and stand before me in this house, which is calledby my name, and say We are delivered to do all theseabominations?"

If they who were under the old covenant could not continue in sin day after dayand then come into the house of the Lord and declare "we are saved to do allthese things" how in the world do the children of error think they are going to getaway with it seeing that we have been given the gift of the Holy Spirit dwelling inus to the SAME extent that Messiah had that same gift of the Spirit? It amazesme!

FAITH, HOPE AND LOVE... BUT LOVE IS THE KEY

I said that we need "no man to teach us" now that we have the Holy Spiritindwelling. This includes the Apostles! We don't need them to teach us! Sincethe New Testament is made up of the teachings of the Apostles we thereforedon't need the New Testament to teach us either! I know, the the child of errorwhat I just said is utter blasphemy but it is true nontheless and it's easily provedby those same scriptures I say we don't really need!

1 Thessalonians 4: 9"But as touching brotherly love you have no need that I write toyou; for you yourselves are taught of God to love one another."

All scriptures are "good" for reproof and instruction in righteousness and I rely onthem heavily all the time but I have no delusions that they are God! (As once Isaw a televangelist strutting across the stage waving his Bible saying "in thebeginning was the word and the word was God, this is God people"). The writtenword came of the Holy Spirit and HE LIVES IN ME! That's the bottom line. Allthe Bible reading in the world is not going to teach me to love as Christ loved.Anyone who thinks it will is seriously deluded!

Remember that Messiah taught us that by his sending the "Comforter" we wouldbe able to "keep" his commandments. He made many such promises regardingthis, saying things like "if you love me keep my commandments." John wrote in

his first letter (quoted earlier) that "in him is the love of God perfected." Faithbrings forth hope (hope of christlike perfection) and that hope perfects the love ofGod IN YOU, which causes your faith and your hope to come to pass! This is theway of the walk of Christ. Yet, not so among the children of error. To them faithis simply believing that you are going to go to Heaven despite your sinfulbehavior (that your sins are forgiven and even though you walk inunrighteousness Christ kept the law for you and his righteousness is counted asyours). Their hope is that they will see the Kingdom without doing anything at

all! Their Love is a humanistic sort of love that belongs to the world. They do notsee that God's love keeps you from sinning completely. They don't understandthat if you LOVE someone you will NOT sin against them. If you LOVE God youwon't sin against Him either! You cannot, for if you walk in that LOVE it'simpossible to sin for the Spirit of love does NOT sin!

If you have the Holy Spirit IN you, you will keep Messiah's commandments andthey are summed up as follows:

Matthew 22: 36-40"36 Master which is the greatest commandment in the law?37 Jesus said to him: You shall love God with all of your heartand with all your soul, and with all your strength38 This is the first and greatest commandment39 And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as

yourself.40 On these two commandments hang the entire law and theprophets."

John 13: 34"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one anotheras I have loved you, that you also love one another."

The children of error do not understand that Christ was able to live "tempted in allways yet without sin" because of his great LOVE for us! Here, he COMMANDS

us to love each other with THAT SAME LOVE. How is that even possible if theyare correct and Christ's ability to live without sin came because he was GODINCARNATE? The answer is, it's NOT possible, otherwise their entire premise isgone! The minute we loved each other the way he loved us we would be proving(by their reasoning) that we too are God incarnate (for they have most assuredlysaid that only God come down to earth can do this)! When they teach thesethings they are flat out DENYING that we can EVER obey Christ's command tolove one another just as he has loved us!

I had an interesting and much heated argument with the leader of a Bible studyyears ago! The subject of loving each other came up and in the study he told the

group that we are only commanded to love our "brethren" (fellow Christians). Iwas quite simply apalled by this. I took him aside into another room to teach himand before too long he was red in the face angry at me, thoroughly convincedthat we are only commanded to love fellow Christians with the love of Christ!Yet, look at these verses closely.

Matthew 5: 43-48"43 You have heard that it is said, You shall love your neighbor

and hate your enemy44 But I say to you love your enemies, bless them that curseyou, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them thatdespitefully use you and persecute you.45 That you may be children of your Father which is in Heaven:for he causes the sun to rise on the evil and the good, andsends rain on the just and the unjust.46 For if you love them which love you what reward do youhave? Don't the publicans even do that?47 And if you salute your brothers only what have you donemore than others do? Don't the publicans even do the same?48 Be therefore perfect, even as your Father in heaven is

    perfect."

It is imperative we scrutinize verse 48! The children of error say such a thing isimpossible. They teach that only Christ was "perfect" in his love (and that is theproof he is divine)! They nullify the command of our Lord to do likewise even ashe has done! They have gone through the new translations of the Bible andreplaced everywhere the word "perfect" appears in reference to OUR behaviorwith the word "whole" except this one verse 48, and that only because it makesno sense to have Christ say "be therefore whole even as the Father in heaven iswhole," or "be therefore whole even as the Father is perfect." Yet, there's nogetting around the truth that even if the word were "whole" in verse 48, how is itpossible for us, mere mortals, who are not God incarnate, to be just as WHOLEas the Father is whole? Simply, the children of error ignore the commandments

of Christ pertaining to just how much LOVE we must have one toward anotherand even say it's IMPOSSIBLE because we are still "in the flesh." Yet, truth betold if we love even as the Father and Messiah loved, we are NOT going to sinagainst each other! Plus, they ultimately forget that Christ was in the flesh tooand he was able to do it!

Romans 13: 8"8 Owe no man nothing but to love one another, for he thatloves another has fulfilled the law.9 For this, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not kill, youshall not steal, you shall not bear false witness, you shall notcovet; and if any other commandment it is brieflycomprehended in this saying, namely, you shall love yourneighbor as yourself.10 Love works no ill to his neighbor, therefore love is thefulfilling of the law."

  • 8/3/2019 Bad News vs. Good News

    29/38

The children of error state "you can't be perfect in this life" and go much furthersaying that ONLY Christ was perfect because he was God incarnate (and that hisperfection was the proof of his divinity). They have forever barred US from lovingwhich means they state openly that we cannot obey CHRIST at all (whocommanded us to love one another AS HE LOVED). He who loves does indeed

"fulfill the law" because if you love you will not do anything sinful to yourneighbor! Someone is lying here, either the Apostle who wrote Romans (andChrist himself) or the children of error.

Love brings about the righteousness of Christ IN us (that is in our flesh)! That iswhy there's no such thing as an "unknown" or "unwilfull" sin! If you are walking inChrist's love it's simply not possible to sin for love does not sin! If you do have asin you are unaware of you are not walking in the command of Christ to "love oneanother" and obviously those who teach that unwillful sin is not sin do notunderstand what a grave sin it is to disobey the Lord of Glory! To themignorance is bliss! You're better off not knowing the law or not knowing the Lord

for that matter because, they teach, you are only judged for KNOWN sins!Ridiculous! All sin is a lack of LOVE for another human being (or for God) andthat alone is a grave sin indeed for them who have been given the Comforter toabide IN them and claim to believe in the testimony of the Son of God whocommanded us to love one another BY HIS EXAMPLE!

We are commanded to love one another! It's not an "option." It's not asuggestion! It's a HOLY command from the Holy One of Israel! If any man sayshe loves God but does not love his brother, he is a liar!

    2 Corinthians 6: 1-6

"1 We then, as workers together with him, beg you also that youdon't receive the grace of God in vain.2 (for he said I have heard you in times accepted and in the dayof salvation I have secured you behold now is the acceptedtime, behold now is the day of salvation)3 Giving no offence in anything that our ministry isn't blamed4 but in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God,in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses5 In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, inwatchings, in fastings:6 By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, bythe Holy Spirit, by love unfeigned."

The children of error teach that we will NEVER be perfect in this life (because weare in the flesh) and they are waiting for a day when they are "changed" or"transformed" before they walk in "love unfeigned" which leads to sinlessperfection! They state openly that it's not going to happen while they live in this

fleshly body but Paul said "NOW is the accepted time, NOW is the day ofsalvation." They say that they are "saved" but they don't really know what thatmeans. They think it means that they are going to heaven despite the fact thatthey are not walking in the Holy Spirit of love (which leads us to sinlessness)! They are in a very dangerous position and many think I'm coming down on them

when actually it is out of LOVE I am preaching this truth! I don't want anyone tomiss this! I don't want the GRACE of God to be wasted on them (for surely it iswasted) if that Grace does not bring about the righteousness that comes by faithin the Son of God and what he did for us when he was crucified to send us theHoly Spirit of LOVE to dwell in us in all fulness!

If you say you can never live without sin, you are saying you can never live inlove! They even then go so far as to say that ONLY their Christ ever walked inthis sort of love and in so doing he proved he was DIVINE!

I will not even endeavor to go through all of the scriptures concerning love and

it's power and how it transforms us into Christ like perfection! There are just toomany of them and I would literally break my back sitting at the keyboard andtapping them out. Get yourself a Strong's Exhaustive Concordance and look upthe word "love" and read every place it appears in the New Testament! You willbe left with no doubt of the truth of what I am saying. We can walk in Christ likeperfection and indeed are commanded to by Christ himself when he said "loveone another as I have loved you!" If you dare deny it, God have mercy on yoursoul!

Love is the reason that the Apostle said "if you walk in the Spirit you shall notfulfill the lust of the flesh."

Galatians 5: 16"This I say then. Walk in the Spirit and you shall not fulfill thelust of the flesh."

Love is the reason the Apostle told us that we can "mortify the deeds of the body"by the Spirit.

Romans 8: 13-14"13 For if you live after the flesh you shall die: but if you through

the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, you shall live.14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sonsof God."

Love is the reason that the Apostle told us that as the Sons of God we can livewithout sin:

    1 John 3: 1- 11

"1 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed uponus, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore theworld knows us not, because it knew him not.2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God and what we shall be likehasn't appeared yet but we know that when he shall appear weshall be like him for we shall see him as he is.3 And every man that has this hope in him purifies himself evenas HE is pure.4 Whoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is thetransgression of the law.5 And you know that he was manifested to take away our sins;and in him is no sin.6 Whoever abides in him does not sin: whoever sins has notseen him, neither known him.

7 Little chldren, let no man deceive you: he that doesrighteousness is righteous, even as HE is righteous.8 He that commits sin is of the devil; for the devil sinned fromthe beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.9 Whoever is born of God does not commit sin; for his seedremains in him, and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.10 in this the children of God are manifest, and the children ofthe devil: Whoever does not righteousness is not fo God,neither he that loves not his brother.11 For this is the message that you have heard from thebeginning, that we should love one another."

How far have the children of error strayed from the path? They teach openly thatyou can NEVER stop sinning in contrary to the sound doctrines of the Apostleswho stated that if you love as God commands you CANNOT sin! The Holy Spiritabides IN us (and by virtue Christ in us) NOW all that is left is for us to abide INHIM! He who abides in the Son of God by the Holy Spirit purifies himself, becomes LIKE HIM, and cannot sin for such a person is "born of God." Thechildren of error cannot receive this for they have taught for centuries that only

Christ is "born of God" and that is the proof that he is DIVINE (trinity)!

The children of error will ignore entire chapters in 1 John which say that you can(and will) stop sinning and quote one single verse (twited and misinterpreted) tomake all who teach the righteousness of Christ liars!

1 John 1:6"If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the

    truth is not in us."

This is usually the only verse on the subject of sin from the first letter of John thatthe children of error want to read for it seems to say that no man can EVER saythey are living without sin! It does NOT say that. John states that no man

(except Christ) can say "I haven't sinned," for indeed all have sinned. Yet, thegrand irony is that the children of error teach that God does not "see" their sins, that when God looks at them he sees only the righteousness of Christ, and theirsins are "covered by the blood." This is saying "I have no sin" for if something isnon existent to God (their sins) then I promise you it does NOT EXIST.

If no man can EVER stop sinning then why did John write later:

1 John 2: 1"My little children, these things I write to you so that you do notsin, and if any man does sin we have and advocate (Comforter)

with the Father, even Jesus Christ the righteous:"

Notice that in the next verse we find that the "propitiation" of sins that comes fromthe crucified Christ is not just for the believer but for the whole world!

1 John 2: 2"And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world."

If all we get out of the crucifixion is "propitiation" or atonement for sins and that is

"salvation" then by the above verse the WHOLE WORLD is saved already! Yet,notice what John says next, it's in direct contradiction to what the children of errorteach (that we can never stop sinning in this life)!

1 John 2: 3-10"3 And here's how we know that we know him, if we keep hiscommandments.4 He that says, I know him, and does not keep hiscommandments is a liar and the truth is not in him.5 But whoever keeps his word, in him truly is the love of God

perfected: which is how we know that we are in him.6 He that says that he abides in him should himself also walklike him, even as he walked7 Brothers, I write no new commandment to you, but an oldcommandment, which you have heard from the beginning, theold commandment is the word which you have heard from thebeginning.

8 Again a new commandment I write to you, which is true in himand in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light nowshines.9 He that says he is in the light and hates his brother is indarkness even now.10 He that loves his brother abides in the light and there is nooccasion of stumbling in him."

I'm amazed that the children of error can quote 1 John 1:8 and never read anyfurther to see that there is a way to "abide" in Christ's LOVE and in so doing livelike him, in PERFECTION and HOLINESS! Anyone who says they are "abiding"in Christ and are sinning, that person is a liar! The children of error can neveradmit this truth, for they teach openly that ONLY CHRIST can abide in theFather's love to perfection (and indeed state that is the proof that he was divine)!

THE FLESH TRAP- THE SIN CURSE LIE

The children of error do not see that we now have the power by the Holy Spiritdwelling in us to overcome the sins of the flesh by "abiding" or "living" in hisLOVE (which causes us to do no harm to others). They can't for they teach onlyCHRIST could do this and that because he was God! They say that Christ wasperfect because he wasn't born with the "original sin" curse or "adamic curse"being immaculately conceived! They are forever trapped in the flesh and ignorecompletely the scriptures that say we are no longer in the flesh through the workof Christ!

They like to quote Romans 7:14-23

"14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, soldunder sin.15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that I don'tdo; but what I hate I end up doing.16 If then I do that which I would not do, I consent to the law thatit is good.17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwells in me.18 For I know that in me (that is in my flesh,) dwells no good

thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform thatwhich is good I don't find.19 For the good that I would do I don't do: but the evil which Iwould not, that I end up doing.20 Now If I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sinthat dwells in me.21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present

with me.22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the lawof my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sinwhich is in my members."

The children of error quote these verses at almost EVERY Bible study. Theycommit them to memory because they do not realize that Paul here is describingto the Romans a man who is trapped in the FLESH under the OLD LAW! It doesnot occur to them that these verses do NOT apply to him who walks in the Spirit, given as a result of the deliverance offered to us by the crucifying of Messiah! How do I assert this? I don't have to, Paul says so plainly before and after theseverses and one must take them completely out of context to apply them to aperson who is WALKING the WALK of Christ. (For, indeed, none of the abovestatements were EVER true of Christ and they are no more true concerningChrist's followers). Let us read before and after these verses!

Romans 7: 5-6"5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, whichwere by the law, did work in our members to bring forth the fruitunto death.6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being deadwherein we were held that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter."

Paul is clearly describing the state we are in before we have the POWER of theHoly Spirit indwelling! Need more proof? Read on:
