Greenhills Neighbourhood CentreAccess to information, childcare facilities,a meeting place or an opportunity to attend a course or workshop in a friendly and relaxed environment.
Livingstone Community Centre Livingstone Community Centre is a ministry of the Ivanhoe Baptist Church. The Centre seeks to strengthen community in a safe and positive environment and to nurture the social, intellectual, emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing of all who participate.
Olympic Adult Education We provide meaningful programs to help people within our community learn for life.
Rosanna Fire Station Community HouseTo provide the opportunities for all to learn, teach, make friends and give mutual support in an ethnically diverse, comfortable, accepting and co-operative environment.
Watsonia Neighbourhood HouseCreating community, fostering friendship,living and learning.
Contact offers many day-time classes and activities including embroidery, patchwork, mosaics, painting, photography, scrapbooking, smocking, re-born dolls, jewellery making, knitting and crochet, and a full range of exercise groups such as yoga, gentle aerobics, Pilates, Rai Chi, Zumba and Nia Aging with Grace. Everyone welcome including beginners. Enrolments throughout the year depending on vacancies.
At Diamond Valley Learning Centre in 2014, you will learn new skills, make friends and expand your experience. We offer a wide range of activities and courses, with affordable fees, making learning an option for all.
Our informal and friendly environment encourages and supports participation by all members of the community. We offer a large variety of programs including health and well being, skills and personal development courses as well as quality childcare. Everyone welcome
A place for friendship, learning and belonging. A place where all our participants, tutors, volunteers and guests are warmly welcomed and appreciated. Please feel free to pop in and have a look around. Some classes have free trial sessions so come and have a go or give us a call! We would also love to hear your suggestions for new groups. We’re looking forward to meeting you!
We have three levels of literacy and numeracy classes for people who need help with reading, writing and maths. The classes use computers, current world and local events and other topics of interest to practise reading, writing and numeracy skills in a supported and friendly environment. Classes also go on excursions and become involved with other activities at the centre.
We are a warm and friendly learning centre. We run a number of community based courses, including yoga, photography, guitar, computers, ukulele, Africandrums and much more. We also run a number of accessible programs that cater for all interests and abilities. If you’re a little unsure about a course or activity we offer free trial sessions. We always like to hearpeople’s feedback and are happy to look at any courses or activities that you might be interested in. Feel free to pop up to the House on the Hill for a chat, coffee or just a look around. All welcome.

Looking for something different in 2014?Banyule has seven dynamic NeighbourhoodHouses & Learning Centres providing peopleof all ages, abilities and backgrounds with placesto meet, share, exchange information and learntogether. Each centre offers a diverse range ofprofessional, practical and affordable education,leisure, recreation, creative, vocational andpersonal development programs, includingNationally Accredited Certificates, VCE and VCAL.
All classes are tailored so you can learn atyour own pace and are held in relaxed and vibrant social settings. Most centres also offer volunteer programs providing opportunities to learn practical skills in office administration, tutor support, childcare, gardening and otheractivities. Enrolments are ongoing – contact any centre to get started!
