HeaDliNe and tWiNliNe at herbide timing recommendation in cereals: BasF recommends a herbicide application timing, using Full registered rates in cereals for heavy disease pressure, with a planned 2nd application either at flag leaf or Fusarium Head Blight (FHB) timing. growers should utilize a second mode of action where possible when applying twice in a growing season. single application timings should be performed at the Flag leaf timing for foliar disease control to maximize fungicidal effect of HeaDliNe or tWiNliNe. if a grower is concerned with FHB as the key disease, an application of CaraMBa at heading should be used for the best FHB management and superior late season leaf disease control. BasF has done extensive work with various tank-mix partners which include group 2, 4, and 6 products alone and in combination with a graminicide. BasF has limited work and limited information with the HPPD inhibitor herbicides in wheat (ie: infinity based products) therefore BasF does not recommend mixing HeaDliNe or tWiNliNe with HPPD products.
