Heeding Calls by the Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for Foreign DirectInvestments, the Zeberced Group in 2007 has decided to invest in Nigeria in the fields of mining and construction.With our experiences gained over the years in Quarry business in Turkey, we built

our first Concrete and Asphalt Plants. In 2011 Zeberced Furniture was founded with a wide range of products from domestic and office to kitchen furniture; in addition to door production. Interior architecture, decoration and renovation services.Designed and developed by Zeberced in accordance with the economy and industrial needs of Nigeria, The Abuja Industrial Park will provide employment of a minimum 40000 people with 177 parcels in an area of 245 hectares of Land as well as social and technical facilities to be established in the first Industrial Park Project.In the construction sector, Zeberced Group started the construction of the embassy of theFederal Republic of Turkey and the ambassador’s Residence in 2011.These two important projects were not only delivered on schedule in April 2013 but had a touch of the ZebercedGroup class and quality. The Katampe Private Estate Project which is consists of 42 villas and 285 flats and is planned to be completed in 2015.This project will carry the insignia of Zeberced quality and class.

HISTORY

In addition to creating Employment Zeberced Group attaches corporate social responsibility as part of its agenda, we aid technology transfer through the establishments of training facilities. In this regard, we organise meeting, seminars and bring in experts to share their knowledge and ideas with our employees, thereby importing useful on the job training and education to our teeming employees.

ZEBERCED LIMITED

QUARRYASPHALT PLANTBATCHING PLANT

ZEBERCED LIMITED operates in 3 different fields. It has quarry, asphalt, and concretebatching plants. It has 2 concrete batching plants in Kubwa and Katampe. Each of theseplants has a capacity of 120 m3/hour. The asphalt plant has an operating capacity of 240tons/h.

QUARRY

The daily capacity of the quarry, which is 30 km away from the city center and occupies

total area of 130 hectares, is 6,000 tons.

The quarry is comprised of 4 facilities, one of which has a capacity of 140 ton/hour

while the each of the other 3 has a capacity of 110 ton/hour, and has sufficient number

of construction equipments and tools. Products including all aggregate sizes from 0 to 1500 mm

are used in dam, bridge, road, building, and airport projects.

The quarry consists of 4 facilities one of which is 140 ton/hour and the other three are 110 ton/hour each is fed by 15 trucks, 6 excavators, 6 loaders, and 4 rock drillers. The quarry facilities have an annual capacity of 1.5 million tons.

The impact crushers are used in the facilities instead of cone crushers, thus producing cubical materials instead of conical ones. The aggregates produced in this way have very high quality and strength.

Zeberced asphalt mixing plant can produce 240 tons per hour. Since we started producing, we have placed the top priority on R&D to measure and raise the quality of our products and we also have a state of the art laboratory in Abuja. We can meet any requirements with our road and infrastructure equipment.

Zeberced Group has two concrete plants; one in Kubwa, and the other in Katampe.These plants have a total of 240 m3/h production capacity.There are 25 mixers and 5 pumps that are 36, 45, and 51

meters long at the facilities to deliver products to the customers.It uses the stone dust, stone chips and granite that are produced in its own quarry, thus maintaining and enhancing the concrete quality standards.We have produced Class C60 concrete in the laboratory and Class C50 concrete to our customer.

Laboratory Test- Quality

Quality standard is very important for ready-mixed concrete. Zeberced preserves its quality standard by constantly collecting samples from the concrete it produces for sustainable quality. We do these in collaboration with suppliers (of cement and chemical additives.).

Furthermore, concrete quality can be measured by collecting samples from existing buildings by core sampling.

Importance of Ready Mixed Concrete

Currently, manually mixed concrete is widely used in Nigeria in concrete casting works. This affects both soundness and life of buildings to a significant extent. Zeberced aims to bring the quality of the buildings to international standards by extending the use of ready-mixed concrete. Ready-mixed concrete has numerous advantages compared with manually mixed concrete, some of which are as follows:

The advantages of ready-mixed concrete can be summarized as follows:- As it can be produced in a short time and in large amounts, it saves labour and time compared to manual casting.- Production made with computer control at a ready-mixed concrete plant instead of production made manually or with eyeball estimation keeps resistance of concrete under control.- Thanks to its high supporting strength, ready-mixed concrete decreases column and beam sections, increases beam openings, and helps creating earthquake-resistant and safe structures by decreasing the fixed load of the building.- More economic solutions may be reached for building designs with highly resistant types of ready-mixed concrete.- It enables fast work in big projects.

CONSTRUCTION

ZEBERCED CONSTRUCTION

After its success in the mining sector, Zeberced Group founded Zeberced Construction to operate in the construction sector. Zeberced Construction consists of two groups: Building and Infrastructure.

Building and Superstructure GroupThe goal of the Building and Superstructure Group is to introduce nature-friendly, safe, and modern settlements in Nigeria. Constructing shopping malls, business centers equipped with nanotechnology and power plants is among its short term goals.

Road and Infrastructure Group The goal of this group is to contribute to construction of viaducts, bridges, pipelines to be used in infrastructure as well as culverts, parking lots, landscapes, industrial zones and highways in developing Nigeria.

In Abuja Industrial Park, the wastewater will be treated and recycled using a treatment facility, for the purpose of watering the green areas. In Abuja Industrial Park, recycling is a resource recovery practice that refers to the collection and re use of waste materials such as empty beverage containers. The materials from which the items are made can be reprocessed into new products.
