BATH RUGBY ACADEMY STRENGTH & CONDITIONING INTERNSHIP
JOB TITLE: Bath Rugby Academy Strength & Conditioning Intern REPORTS TO: Academy Performance Manager JOB PURPOSE: To assist in the actualisation of the Bath Rugby Academy Physical Development Model to the Developing Players Program (DPP) and Elite Players Development Group (EPDG). Primarily delivering Performance Edge sessions as part of weekly rugby content and support during selected camp periods and at selected weekly strength and conditioning sessions and camps as organised by the Academy Performance Manager. COMMITMENT: July 2015 – April 2016. 2-3 90 min sessions per week (evenings) + 20-25 selected day camps. Willingness to travel (Chippenham, Taunton, Sherborne, Farleigh Hungerford near Bath) REMITTENCE: Selected travel expenses, training attire and comprehensive professional development package including 1st4Sport Level 1&2 Strength and Conditioning Qualification and/or specific mentoring.

APPLICANTS:
Driving Licence (or ability to get to Farleigh House, Farleigh Hungerford, Chippenham, Sherborne, Taunton).
Completing or recently completed Degree and/or Qualifications in Sports Science / Strength & Conditioning / Coaching / Physical Education / Personal Training.
Previous experience and confidence in teaching and correcting fundamental movement patterns and applying principles of training (desirable).
Confidence in ability to coordinate and manage large groups of people.
