Beat the heat with Aston V12 Vantage Roadster

Aston Martin, the world’s finest car maker, has revealed its latest sports car i.e., Aston V12 Vantage Roadster. Aston has already announced that it is a limited edition car. The all new V12 Vantage Roadster will cost $431,561 plus on road charges, in the Australian Market, which eventually makes it more expensive than the Aston’s V12 Vantage coupe and V8 Vantage S Roadster.

Though V12 Vantage Roadster has got the same V12 Vantage coupe’s front-mounted 380kW/570Nm engine and six-speed manual transaxle transmission, Aston has claimed that its latest launch will hit 100Km/h just in 4.5 seconds, which is quite slower than the Coupe, however, the top speed will remain the same i.e., 305Km/h.

The new edition of V12 Vantage has got the same hallmarks that were present in its previous Coupe version such as the heavily vented bonnet; however, there are some elements, which have been redesigned to make it more exciting and appealing, and one of them is the removal of top roof.

Technology at its best

Aston V12 Vantage Roadster’s muscular 6.0-litre engine produces 517 PS at 6,500 rpm and a powerful 570 Nm of torque at 5,750 rpm. This latest sports variant from Aston Martin has been smartly packaged into the compact form to make the most of its abundant natural agility.

The astonishing V12 offers its users with high levels of power and torque, and still accomplishes to provide them with a versatile, sophisticated and breathe taking driving experience.

The new V12 Vantage also features the “Sport” mode button, which allows the user to choose between the two different power train types. In Normal mode, the car offers a more relaxed throttle response, which makes it suitable to drive comfortably in heavy traffic. Whereas, in Sports mode, it provides the driver with a sharper throttle response, and the exhaust system bypass valves stay open for longer period of time to create a particularly sporty exhaust note.

It features a re-designed rear boot lid and lower front air intake to keep up the level of dynamic performance. Moreover, there are certain changes in chassis has also been made when compared with the Coupe, which includes a bespoke rear damper set-up, front and rear damper valve tuning and a new rear spring design.

Design

Aston V12 Vantage Roadster has got two doors and two seat layout, and the VH bonded aluminum structure. The outer design looks more sharper and eye catching, and the headlight comprises of halogen projector headlamps (high beam) and high intensity discharge headlamps (dipped beam), which eventually offers an incredible and safe night driving experience to the users. The V12 Vantage Roadster has got sports seats with 10 way electric adjustment, which includes height, tilt and lumbar adjustment.
