*NOTE: While this pattern has been tested multiple times, some testers find themselves with one un-worked st at the end of this row. If you do, work a sc decrease (sc2tg) as the last st, instead of a sc

    Right Bootie

8: slst in the next 8 sts, ch16, sc in 5th ch from hook, sc in the next 10 sts, sk the last ch, skip the st at the base of the strap (see Pic 3:), sl in the next sts and each sts around. Join. Fasten off and weave in ends. You may also choose to make the strap length shorter, to do so ch13 instead of 16

    Left Bootie

8: slst in the next 18 sts, ch16, sc in 5th ch from hook, sc in the next 10 sts, sk the last ch, skip the st at the base of the strap (see Pic 3), slst in the next sts and each sts around. Join. Fasten off and weave in ends.

*NOTE: It is possible that 18 slst might not be enough to get the strap in the right position if your sl st's are tight, check to see if the strap is in the same position as the first bootie, and adjust accordingly by increasing the number of sl st's you make before starting the chain for the strap.

Attach buttons to the side of bootie.
