Itinerary Details

Day 01: Arrival Leh Welcome to Leh, the capital city of Ladakh. On arrival at Leh Airport you will be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at Hotel in Leh

Day 02: Leh: Full Day Local sightseeing After breakfast proceed to Shanti Stupa built by Japanese monks to promote world peace, this large, hilltop stupa has brightly colored reliefs on its mid-levels and is topped by a spired white hemisphere. Later visit Sankar Gompa an eye-catching monastery. This monastery is crowned with a spire made in gold and a dharma charka. Later Visit Leh Palace, built in the 17th century in the grand tradition of Tibetan architecture. The rest of the evening is at leisure. Overnight at hotel in Leh.

Day 03: Leh - Nubra Valley (124 Kms/3.5 hrs) After breakfast drive to Nubra Valley, popularly known as Dorma or 'the valley of

flowers' via Khardungla Pass - world's one of the highest motorable road (5602 M)

and check into your camp. Afternoon visit the main Diskit Monastery and the giant

statue of Maitreya Buddha which is the tallest Buddha statue in Ladakh. You also visit

the white sand dunes at Hunder where you can enjoy the Double Humped Bactrian

optional camel ride. Rest of the evening is free for leisure activities. Overnight at

Camp in Nubra valley

Day 04: Nubra Valley - Khardungla Pass –Leh (124 kms/3.5 hrs) After Breakfast drive back to Leh visiting Khardungla Pass (5578 M) at 39 kms

towards Leh. Khardung-La which means Pass of Lower Castle,' is major caravan route

from Leh to Kashgar in Central Asia. The rest of the evening is free for leisure

activities. Overnight at hotel in Leh.

Day 05: Leh –Excursion to Alchi (60Kms / 1.5Hrs) After breakfast, visit Alchi, (11500 feet) a small village in the Indus Valley and

religious enclave of five temples. En route see the majestic Sangam - Zanskar is the

river formed from the junction of two streams, Lungnak and Stod. See the marvelous

Magnetic Hill, e. Visit Military Hall of Fame, a glorious museum constructed by Indian

army. You can see biographies of eminent defense personalities, images and

weapons used during Kargil war, Siachen and its heroes and their daily instruments

and lifestyle of Ladakhi people. You will also visit Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, The rest of

the evening is free for leisure activities. Overnight at hotel in Leh.

Day 06: Leh –Pangong - Pangong Tso, lake (134 kms / 4 Hrs) After breakfast, proceed to Pangong Tso,the lake extending from India to Tibet. En Route visit Shey Palace, the 15th century summer palace and monastery of Leh's Royal family. Before reaching Pangong Lake, you will pass through Changla, a high mountain pass and world's 3rd highest motorable road. The name literally means "Pass towards the South" or "Pass in the South" .Overnight at hotel in Pangong.

Day 07: Pangong: City tour - Leh (134kms/4 hrs) After breakfast proceed to Leh. En route visit Hemis Monastery hidden in a gorge, the largest and wealthiest gompa in Ladakh. Visit Stok Palace, famous for beautiful gardens and the view of sunrise and sunset is amazing from the palace. The Palace presents a collection of royal attires, crown and other royal materials. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at hotel in Leh.

Day 08: Leh –Back Home –Depart After Breakfast as you are transferred to Leh airport for flight back to home with happy memories.
