GET THE MAXIMUMOUT OF YOUR BRAKESIf pads and discs are not bedded in properly, the brake system will not achieve its maximum performance, wear behavior, pedal feel and lifetime.

Therefore, correct bedding in of brakes is absolutely essential.

IMPORTANCE OF BEDDING IN FOR THE BEST BRAKE PERFORMANCE

The bedding in procedure for PAGID Racing brake pads and discs is identical.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

During the bedding in procedure the brake materials are optimally prepared to achieve the best brake performance.

Burn out volatile elements

Transfer a layer of friction material onto disc

Mechanically align pad surface with disc surface for full contact patch

ATTENTIONTry to avoid installing a new disc and a new brake pad at the same time. Please replace only one component at a time.

If the brake disc has been used before, please make sure that the brake pad compound is compatible with the friction layer on the disc. For any questions please contact your dealer.

RECOMMENDED ON-VEHICLE BEDDING IN PROCEDURE FOR RACING BRAKE PADS AND DISCS

10 stops with mid pressure / low temperature from 150 km/h (90 mph) to approximately 80 km/h (50 mph).

2 A sequence of 5 stops with medium to high pressure from 180 km/h (110 mph) to approximately 60 km/h (40 mph) with maximum acceleration between the stops.

3 RECOVERY STOPS IN LAP

3 to 5 stops with mid pressure from 150 km/h (90 mph) to approximately 80 km/h (50 mph).

Our racing brake pads and discs are also available pre-bedded “ready to race”.

Using pre-bedded parts is always recommended, as they have been run in in a computer-controlled environment and can therefore deliver perfect performance at very reasonable costs.

Keep in mind that every lap on a race track is expensive.

Get the maximum out of your brakes with a minimum amount of time while saving bare money – get pre-bedded parts!
