What is an acrostic poem?

An acrostic poem uses the letters in a topic word to begin each line. All lines of the poem should relate to or describe the poem.

Guidelines

Must use the word THANKFUL.

Each line must have at least 4 words.

Must contain at least 3 of the following: Simile Metaphor Personification Onomatopoeia Idiom Hyperbole Alliteration

Must have at least 4 examples of either internal rhyme or end rhyme. Underline each example in your poem.
