Difficulty Level:Kids will need to be able to use scissors to cut out a shape and follow basic folding instructions. Materials Needed: Before Copying: Write the Bible verse on the lines of the treat box. Write the Biblereference in the box on the front. If your kids are older, have them write the versethemselves on their own copies. Instructions: Have kids color the treat boxes, if desired.. Cut the treat boxes out along the solid black lines on the outside. Have an adult useone edge of scissors to score the boxes on the curved dotted lines. Fold the treat box vertically down the long dotted line so that the pictures are on theoutside. Fold the flap down the vertical line, so the flap is toward the back. Place a smear of glue down the flap. Push the top of the box flat down onto the flapand allow to dry. Or, use a piece of tape to tape the seam closed. Once the glue is dry, gently squeeze the long sides of the box toward each other.Push the bottom rounded flaps in toward the box, folding gently on the scored lines.Secure with tape or glue. Fill the box with treats as desired. Push the top roundedflaps in toward the top of the box to close. Secure with tape or glue. Additional Ideas: These make super sweet gifts for kids to give away. Considermaking one for a sick classmate or friend.
