Description CardiovasculardiseaseremainstheleadingcauseofdeathintheUSaccountingfor40%ofalldeaths,morethanallformsofcancercombined,despiteprogressinpreventivecare,publiceducationefforts,rapidresponsetoacutecoronaryevents,andmedicaladvancesinthetreatmentofheartdisease.Thisconferenceisdesignedtoprovideanupdateonnewadvancesandareasofinterestincardiologyforprimarycareproviders,nurses,andotherinterestedhealthprofessionals.
