BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION IN INDONESIA When they have their birthday celebrated they usually evening at their birth day their friends or younger families will throw flours to the birthday person till its almost like full of white then the mother will wash her after the throwing flour is done using a hose or bucket but they need to wash her while staying in her position and it must be the mother who wash him/her.

Around the world people celebrate their birthdays in different ways to celebrate their new age by having party with families and friends.

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION IN INDONESIA

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION IN NIGERIAIn Nigeria the 1st, 5th, 10th and 15th birthdays are considered special events. On these birthdays they have huge parties which have up to 100 guests or more.On their birthdays they have a feast consisting or an entire roasted cow or goat. They also serve a dish called Jollof rice, this is made with rice, tomatoes, red peppers, and onions plus also cassava which is similar to sweet potato.

At their birthday parties, children play a game known as Pass the Parcel. Guests pass around the package to music and when the music stops the person holding the package unwraps the parcel then passes it on until the last bit of paper is taken off the prize.

Most Nigerians speak English but might also speak their own language such as Ibo, Hausa Yoruba.

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION IN ITALYjust like the way most Americans celebrate birthdays. but instead of a regular b-days cake it is a tiramisu cake or other pastries. They will have huge family and friends gatherings at a restaurant and have a party. They give out presents to the b-day person too. Group outing to dinner is always a big thing there.

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION IN BRAZILn Brazil the children eat candies shaped like fruit and vegetables. The candies are so beautiful that the children leave them for a while before they eat them.The houses are decorated for the occasion with festive banners and brightly colored paper flowers.

The official language is Portuguese.

Brazilians pull on the earlobes of the birthday boy or girl for each year of their birthday.

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION IN DARWINMany Australian Birthday parties are barbeques as the weather most of the time is not very cold or long in the winter.In Australia the children eat a dish called "Fairy Bread". This is a popular snack and is buttered bread covered with tiny, sprinkles known as "hundreds and thousands".

In Australia they speak English, so they say "happy birthday" like all countries that speak English.

Being given the key to the house is still considered an important sign of coming of age in Australia. This takes place when someone turns the age of twenty-one. The young man who was given the key to the house is said to be given permission to come and go as he pleases and to stay out as late he liked.
