letter from the Principal
dear Parents and Friends of bishop montgomery lady Knights basketball,
welcome to the 2012-2013 girls’ basketball season! each new season brings excitement and this one is no different; we have many exciting contests ahead of us.
head coach alexa johnson’s passion and love for the game and her value for hard work and ethical play are all hallmarks of her leadership, so it is no surprise that under her direction, our girls have worked hard to meet the challenges ahead. i know that each young woman who has chosen to participate has made a commitment to excellence, to hard work, and to team play that is in the best bishop montgomery tradition. Ilookforward,asIknowyoudo, toseeingtheresultsoftheirmanyhoursofhardworkonthepracticefloorand have no doubt that we will be delighted with their exciting play.
Thanks to all of you, parents and friends, who have given support to these young women in their academic and athletic endeavors. Thanks, too, to the many people who make the winter sport season possible, particularly alexa johnson, athletic administrator, Kareem mutrie and ed hodgkiss, athletic directors, and steve miller, assistant Principal. without the willingness of the many people who give their time to security or as members of the booster club, the season could not happen.
i look forward to joining with you in our proud support of the bishop montgomery lady Knights in their 2012-2013 season!
sincerely,
rosemary libbonPrincipal
