A blend is not achieved simply because you are using many delivery methods for your content. Rather, a blend is using the best delivery methodologies available for a specific objective, including online, classroom-based instruction, performance support, paper-based (self-study), and formal or informal on-the-job solutions….
Jennifer Hoffman

Learning for later Learning for now
“At its heart, connectivism is the thesis that knowledge is distributed across a network of connections, and therefore that learning consists of the ability to construct and traverse those networks.”
Connectivism is presented as a theory of learning for the network age, where learning is something that takes place within networks of humans and non-humans, including objects, and connections mediated by digital networks and devices.

EEN NIEUW ID MODEL VOOR BLENDED LEARNING ? BV. ADDIE ADDIE is an instructional design systems model, composed of five phases:
Analysis—the process of gathering data to identify specific needs—the who, what, where, when and why of the design process.
Design—the planning stage.
Development—the phase in which training materials and content are selected and developed based on learning objectives.
Implementation—the phase in which the course is delivered, whether in person or electronically
Evaluation—the ongoing process of developing and improving instructional materials based on feedback received during and after implementation..
Blended Learning ≠ Blended Training

A smart enterpise is a high performing organization that allows knowledge and capabilities, enabled by technology, to grow and flow freely across departmental, geographical or hierarchical boundaries, where it is shared and made actionable for the use and benefit of all.
