Additional Information

You will notice that several apps that are in the same app category (ex. screencasting: ShowMe, ScreenChomp and ExplainEverything) are represented on different levels of the Bloom’s. The explanation is that each one of the apps can be used for the different levels. It is not to say that the ShowMe app could not be used on the “Analyzing” level. Also, be aware that simply by using one of the above mentioned app DOES NOT mean that you are working on the specified thinking level. Ex. you could ask your students to use the ScreenChomp app to simply list and record themselves “remembering” facts that they previously had memorized.

Have additional apps that you feel would fit on here….please share.

FYI

All apps that are free will be placed on the school iPads. We are still working on apps that need to be purchased.

We will have a training on checking out and using them in the classroom.

If you need to have an app added to the iPads…please fill out a technology work order. Long story short….it will make for less frustration.

Questions?

Exploration Time….

In small groups please look at least one app from each Bloom’s level. You will have 5 minutes at each station…if you don’t get finished, don’t worry the apps will be on the iPads unless we find reason to remove. Choose a Bloom’s level and one app to

look at.▪ What do you think of this app?▪ How could you use this app in your room?▪ Could this app fit another Bloom’s level?
