Letter with the Technical Proposal Evaluation results o the SUM SR 18 -2.10 project to add sidewalks to the north side of SR 18. Environmental Design Group has been selected to be the engineering consulting finn for the project. Letter extending the period of the agreement for 30 days with Michael Maghes on the BP/Jimbo's property purchase.

The Bath Township Board of Trustees met in the Trustees' Meeting Room on March 20, 2017, at 4:00p.m. for the purpose of conducting the business of the Township. The President of the Board, Mr. James Nelson, convened the meeting. Trustees present were and Mr. James Nelson, and Mrs. Elaina Goodrich.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

APPROVAL OF AGENDA Mr. Nelson requested, and Mrs. Goodrich moved, approval of the agenda. Mr. Nelson seconded the motion; the motion passed.
Election of the Fiscal Officer Pro Tempore Mr. Nelson requested, and Mrs. Goodrich moved, to appoint Mr. Vito Sinopoli as the Fiscal Officer Pro Tempore. Mr. Nelson seconded the motion; the motion passed.
FISCAL OFFICER PROTEM Vito Sinopoli The Fiscal Officer Pro Tern requested, and Mrs. Goodrich moved, to approve requisitions and regular purchase orders 2017020315 through 2017020355 and payments totaling $217,055.72. The Fiscal Officer Pro Tern called the roll; all aye, the motion passed.

Mr. Funk requested, and Mrs. Goodrich moved, to waive the zoning fees associated with the Bath Nature Preserve Observatory project. Mr. Nelson seconded the motion; the motion passed.
Administrator Vito F. Sinopoli Report: Today, representatives from eight of the nine townships of Summit Cotmty attended a meeting in Copley Township to review the Surface Water District proposal being considered by the Summit County Engineer's Office. This review session introduced the proposal and members of the Engineer's staff accepted feedback and answered questions on aspects ofthe plan. The proposal seeks to address storm water issues, outside of road right of ways, within the various communities represented where storm water management is of concern to residents. The proposal would assess a utility fee of $4.00 to all residential properties in a community and commercial properties would he a assessed a fee of$4 per ERU (equivalent residential unit) or 3000 sq. ft. ofimpt:rvious surface. The proposal is voluntary in nature. As the conversation on the proposed district continues, I will keep everyone updated.
Recommendations: Mr. Sinopoli requested, and Mrs. Goodrich moved, to schedule a special meeting on March 27th, 2017 at 10:30 AM in the Trustees Conference Room to adopt the 2017 Permanent Appropriations. Mr. Nelson seconded the motion; the motion passed.
Mr. Sinopoli requested, and Mrs. Goodrich moved, to schedule the regular April17t\ 2017 Board of Trustees meeting to be held at the Revere High School in room 200 at 1:00 p.m. Mr. Nelson seconded the motion; the motion passed.

Mr. Sinopoli requested the Trustees consider Resolution 2017-05 ReWorks Community Recycling Access Grant
Mr. Nelson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
BATH TOWNSHIP RESOLUTION 2017-05 TO APPLY FOR THE REWORKS COMMUNITY RECYCLING ACCESS GRANT'
WHEREAS, ReWorks has grant monies available through its Community Recycling Access Grant; and,
WHEREAS, the Community Recycling Access Grant has $9,702 available in a reimbursement program for Bath Township; and,
WHEREAS, the grant will reimburse the township for residential recycling projects that increase the diversion of solid waste from landfills; and,
WHEREAS, the Bath Township Board of Trustees desires financial assistance for residential recycling projects;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Bath Township Board of Trustees:
1. Approves the filing of an application to the Community Recycling Access Grant Program.
2. That Executive Assistant Hannah Krumheuer is hereby authorized and directed to execute and file an application and to provide all information and documentation required to become eligible for possible funding assistance.
3. That Bath Township has obligated the funds required to satisfactorily complete the proposed project and become eligible under the terms and conditions of the grant program to be reimbursed.
FURTHER, that the Fiscal Officer be directed to use Special Revenue Fund 208 and if the grant is awarded, to amend the 201 7 Certificate of Estimated Resources and the Permanent Appropriations to reflect the new revenue and expenses.
Mrs. Goodrich seconded the resolution and discussion was held.

Mrs. Goodrich presented the following Resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION 2017-06 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPLICATION TO
THE OHIO DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES NATUREWORKS GRANT
WHEREAS, the State of Ohio through the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, administers financial assistance for public recreation purposes, through the State of Ohio Nature Works grant program, and;
WHEREAS, the Bath Township Board of Trustees desires financial assistance under the Nature Works Grant Program, and;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Bath Township Board of Trustees:
1. Approves the filing of an application to the State of Ohio NatureWorks grant.
2. That Trustee Elaina Goodrich is hereby authorized and directed to execute and file an application and to provide all information and documentation required to become eligible for possible funding assistance.
3. That Bath Township has obligated the funds required to satisfactorily complete the proposed project and become eligible under the terms and conditions of the grant program to be reimbursed.
