A Surging App Economy 466,000 jobs in the United

States, up from zero in 2007 when the iPhone was introduced.

The overall App Economy generated almost $20 billion in revenue in 2011.

The global mobile phone app industry would reach to a humongous $17.5 billion by 2012

The BaaS industry was valued at €216.5 million in 2012 with a projected rising to €7.7 billion by 2017.
