Engaging in urban planning and regional landscape designProject name: Jinding’s Center of Tangjiawan, ZhuhaiProject detail: Jinding’s Center is in the northwest of Tangjiawan, Zhuhai with the area of 8.34 km2. I was in charge of arranging the regulation planning based on the local essential infrastructure. The main mission for me is to cope with the local water arrangement and the relationship between the city and the Tangjiawan River.

Resposible for negotiating Chinese urban planning and landscape projects cooperation with foreign companies. Assigned as the Director of Overseas Office for Zhuhai Insitute of Urban Planning & Design( a government-supported company in China), I was committed

to find a long-term tecompany cooperation between the company and foreign company to deal with large scale of urban planning projects ( Only the fee for

conceptual design can be ranged from USD 650,000 to 2 million)

Resposible for designing the master plan of Zhuhai Military Relative Community This project was assigned by Guangdong Province Military to design the relative community for Zhuhai Military. I was in charge of organize the overall layout, designing the master plan, arranging circulation, and setting landscape architecture for the community. (Due to the military issue, more details cannot be published)

Zhehao Yu was my student at the University of Southern California in the Master of Landscape Architecture program. I served as the chair of his Directed Research Committee and worked closely with him in his final year in the USC MLA program. Zhehao (Boris) has mastered many skills of design research and representation. He has developed an ability to work with two dimensional and three dimensional design tools, and can produce animations to provide experiential representation of places. Zhehao is an enthusiastic designer who is not intimidated by scale.
