BRAMBHAI's(4 Mode) Rapid Fire Mod Tutorial

Congratulations on purchasing the best (4 mode) rapid fire mod kit. This tutorial will take you step by step through an easy installation. Please make sure you follow the steps and pictures that are included. You will need to know the basics of soldering to complete this installation. I cannot be responsible for bad installation or damage done to your controller/yourself. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me on eBay. Thanks!

As a special offer, I am also including the rare hard to find security torx screwdriver as well as a setOf free ring of light led’s. (Tutorial link has been provided inside of this guide)

What’s included in the Kit:

1.) (1) Rare security torx screwdriver (to open controller, handle may vary)

2.) (1) Pre-programmed microchip

3.) (1) 10K ohm resistor

4.) (1) Button

5.) (1) 2 feet of wire

6.) (1) Set of 4 led’s for ring of light mod

7.) Tutorial CD

Tools Needed:

1.) Soldering iron with rosin core solder (RadioShack, etc)

2.) Hot glue gun with glue sticks

3.) Wire strippers and cutters (scissors)

Step 1- Opening the controller

1.) Remove the (7) screws with the included security torx screwdriver.

2.) Keep the controller upside down and remove the back of the controller shell.

3.) Take the board out of the other half of the shell and place the front of the shell to the side.

4.) Now place the controller board right side up.

Step 2- Glue down the Chip

1.) This is very important. Make sure the notch on the chip is pointing down (towards you). This can damage the chip if installed incorrectly. Refer to the pictures below

Page 4: Brambhai's (4 Mode) Rapid Fire Tutorial

2.) Next you will take (2) 2.5 inch pieces of wire and solder them to the two points shown in the center of the controller labeled "positive" and "negative".This provides power to the microchip.

Page 5: Brambhai's (4 Mode) Rapid Fire Tutorial

WIRED CONTROLLER ONLYThere is a slight difference. And that difference is where the power contacts are. The (negative) and (positives) have switched. Refer to the picture below. Then match them with the pins on the chip. Positive wire goes to pin #1, Ground wire goes to pin #8. Wired controllers can now continue with the tutorial.

Step 3- Installing the Resistor

Now install the 10K Ohm resistor that was provided in the kit. Cut the ends of the resistor while leaving a small amount to bend and solder onto Pins 1 and 4 as shown, there should be 2 pins near the middle of the resistor.

Page 7: Brambhai's (4 Mode) Rapid Fire Tutorial

2.) You will need to solder a wire to the left side of the LED as shown, and then connect the wire to PIN 3 on the chip as shown.

Page 8: Brambhai's (4 Mode) Rapid Fire Tutorial

3.) Next solder the 2 power wires to the chip. The positive wire will go to pin #1(red) The negative will go to pin #8(yellow). Refer to the picture below and scroll back up the tutorial if you forgot where each pin is.

Page 9: Brambhai's (4 Mode) Rapid Fire Tutorial

4.) Next you will need to solder a short wire from pin 7 to the board as shown by the yellow dots.

Page 10: Brambhai's (4 Mode) Rapid Fire Tutorial

5.) Next you will need to connect (2) 2.5 inch wires to pin 8 and 5, These wires will then be connected to the Mode button.

Step 4- Installing the Mode Button

1.) To install the Mode button, you first need to refer to the pictures below and drill 1 hole into the right side of the controller shell using the 5/32 drill bit.

Page 12: Brambhai's (4 Mode) Rapid Fire Tutorial

2.) After the hole is drilled, I recommend sanding the area clean. Not only will it make the button stick out more, it will help the hot glue grip onto the plastic.

3.) Put the button in the hole and glue around the edges while holding the button in place. Make sure the button moves freely and you here a "clicking" sound. THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT STEP.

Page 13: Brambhai's (4 Mode) Rapid Fire Tutorial

4.) Place the controller board back on the bottom half of the controller shell, make sure you put the battery terminals in correctly.

5.) Now connect the 2 button wires to the Mode button as shown by the yellow dots.

Step 5- Cleaning up the wires and closing the controller

Now you can clean up the wires by properly bending them away from any screw holes when closing the controller as shown

IMPORTANT!If you are interested in installing the led lightMod that was included in this kit, then go to thisWebsite Tutorial. After that you can come backto this guide to finish up.Tutorial: http://www.llamma.com/xbox360/mods/xbox%20360%20Controller%20LED%20Mod.htm

Page 16: Brambhai's (4 Mode) Rapid Fire Tutorial

4.) Replace the (7) screws and battery pack and you’re officially

done. Unless you want to

Step seven - Re-assemble the controller and Test 1.) Now you can re-assemble the controller and test it out. 2.) First you want to leave the top half of the controller faced down.3.) Place the thumb sticks back on the controller board and put the bottom half of the controlleron top of the other half. Place the thumb sticks through the holes and put the rumble motors backin place.

4.) Now close it up slowly. (Some force may be needed)

5.) Replace the screws and the battery pack and you're done!

HOW THE MOD WORKS

4-Mode - the modes on your controller will be as follows:1st mode (1 LED Flash) = Halo 3 (Fast, just focus on aiming that Battle Rifle!)2nd mode (2 LED Flashes) = COD 5 and GOW 2 (Accurate, does not get locked in COD 5)3rd mode (3 LED Flashes) = COD 4 (Fast, Accuracy Increased, ammo saving mode)4th mode (4 LED flashes) = COD 4 (Ultra Fast mode, Unload full clip in under a second)

You change modes by holding down the right side button for about 5 seconds. Pressing the mode button for 1 second will turn Rapid Fire ON/OFF.

If the rapid fire light stays “ON” after turning off the controller, just press the mode button once.

If you have any problems, I recommend you go through the tutorial once again and make sure everything was done correctly. Good luck and Happy Modding Everyone!!

Please don’t forget to leave 5 STAR feedback and Check my other mod’s sold on EBAY
