Students, staff and community members donated the most stuffed animals they have ever before received! All the stuffed animals were given over to Officer Kenny Davis, the BHS Resource Officer, to be distributed to all the Bremerton police officers who hand them out to children involved in a crisis. Way to go Knights! ___________________________________________________________________ ASB Dodgeball Tournament Last week’s ASB-sponsored Dodgeball Tournament was a tough competition, including several battles of the Staff Team vs Students. Three games were played per round, with the best two out of three proceeding to the next round. The large crowd of onlookers were pleasantly surprised by the quick moves and attack skills of the staff team, with stand-out performances from Ms. Fairweather, Mr. Kielley and Mr. Moore. In the end only one team could win, but with free hotdogs and burgers on the grill and talent on the court, fun was had by all! __________________________________________________________________

Moving Up Ceremony – The BHS Class of 2018’s first Graduation Rehearsal was preceded by the school’s first annual Moving Up Ceremony! Seniors wore their caps and gowns as each class “moved up” to their new rank; Seniors to Graduates, Juniors to Seniors, Sophomores to Juniors, Freshmen to Sophomores and we even welcomed the incoming Eighth Graders as Freshman, who were bused in especially for the Ceremony. The Gym was filled with excitement (and a few tears) as students looked to their futures.

Elevator Keys – All students who currently have an Elevator Key checked out under their name must turn their key back in on or before their last day of class. Students were all sent a reminder notice in class, but any missing keys will result in a fine. See Ms. Marilyn in the main office with any questions.
