Questions? In summary, Information literacy is imbedded among us. Now lets embrace it and make it work for us.

  • *Appendix: Explaining the Design ElementsIve tried to create a lively but powerful PowerPoint highlighting major points that need to be addressed within my administrators, teachers and members of the community. By using the network cables through out I kept the computer theme strong. Based on the assertion evidence model, I stayed away from bullets points and focused mostly on my pictures telling the story, without being dazzled down with too much graphics or other images, but I do believe in making it presentable. I think too much graphics gets the audience overwhelmed but just the right amount will keep them focused.

Slide #8 is simple but gives all the details for the speaker and the audience to maintain an understanding of the forthcoming lecture. It all adds up with the database globe, the Boolean search methods and the website wiki. It states, Should we use database (and or) websites. And by using the Boolean graphic it shows the audience proper query techniques as part of search methods.

Slide #9 It also tells a story. We all love the internet and all its information, but we not need to forget its proper use. Then it leads to the story of this wave of innovation, we call Web 2.0 or something else, is itself emergent and uncertain(Alexander, 2006, p. 42). And we end with our Librarian's, that with out them, proper literacy may have not taken place. We need the school district to act and help bring back our librarians to conquer the latter messages
