Executed the task of closing 68 high-risk actions across 5 offshore departments by meticulously researching issues, reviewing specifications, facilitating workshops and detailing resolutions that were presented to the technical authority (TOTAL) for approval. To manage this important task an action tracking system was created on excel, which also produced status reports for senior management. One major issue covered was the under design of the start-up processing facility. To resolve this issue the system was analysed for worst case flow scenarios (velocity, pressure & temp) and then problem-solving skills were implemented to make the necessary modifications, with the least disruption to the project. 2011 – 2013 Chevron Gorgon Gas Development Project Perth, Australia Worked for the client’s representative team as a Project Engineer responsible for delivering the Chevron supplied equipment (Steel Frame Modules and LNG Marine Loading Arms). This involved advising on technical, quality and schedule issues. During this role I demonstrated a high level of attention to detail, ensuring each connection point was as per design, to prevent assembly issues. One of my major responsibilities was chairing and documenting the weekly Contractor meeting. I made it my mission to ensure there was no ambiguity as these notes were often used formally for contract discussions. 2010 – 2011 Exxon PNG LNG Project Papua New Guinea As a package engineer for the infrastructure team, my main responsibility was developing scope of work documentation that was critical for ensuring packages were technically correct and that there were limited contractual issues. This also involved reviewing tender submissions and performing bid evaluations. Additionally a study on equipment efficiency was assigned to me, which required developing a matrix that was linked to the schedule. Results were then used to make recommendations to management, which resulted in a reduction of overall equipment numbers, & in effect a cost saving of $35000-40000 per month.
