Bio Peer Meter and Gerda Raidt
Peer Meter was born in 1956 in Bremen. He is the author of graphic novels such as“Gift” (with artist Barbara Ye-lin) and “Haarmann” (Isabell Kreitz, Carlsen). Apart from Comics and novels he works for the theater.
Gerda Raidt was born in 1975 and studied Illustration in Leipzig and works as a freelancer since 2004. She illus-trated severall books, some of them for children since then. “Böse Geister” is her first graphic novel.

An old man named Harry returns to the house he grew up in, which is about to be demolished soon. His old home brings back memories of his childhood. After the death of his father in an accident he escaped from the cold and sad reality into the world of horror comics, where he hoped to find a way to get in contact with his lost father. While Harry reminisces about past times he suddenly hears a voice sounding from the top floor of the old, abandoned house... Peer Meter and Gerda Raidt tell a beautiful and atmospheric tale about a difficult childhood and about the love for comic books. At the same time BÖSE GEISTER features elements of a classical ghost story.
