Australia: Xobdo is a non-profit organization formed with a
group of volunteers located in various parts of the globe with the
common interest of promoting the languages of the North-East
India in the cyber world. Members of Xobdo are voluntarily col-
laborating to construct and maintain this website.
In March, 2006 the Xobdo team began working on the online Eng-
lish and Assamese bidirectional dictionary. Currently, Xobdo has
a number of North-Eastern languages included in its dictionary.
On January 2009, Ven. Pragya Jyoti became a member of this
organization and subsequently he was appointed as Editor and
multi-lingual word contributor on 16th March 2009. At present
he was contributed 78 Chakma, 35 Mizo, and 20 Assamese
words.
How to add Chakma words in the online dictionary, please write
to Ven. Pragya Jyoti by e-mail: [email protected] or Regis-
tering yourself at Xobdo is free and easy. Once you are regis-
tered you can start adding Chakma words. Ven. Pragya Jyoti
trying to Chakma Unicode system in the Xobdo. As a editor, he
