    Failing to Submit an Assignment, Final Project,

    or to Sit for the Midterm

    Should a student fail to write the midterm or final exam, thestudent should contact the student advisor ASAP.

    The student advisor is the one who decides whether the

    students excuse is acceptable or not.

    For missed assignments and quizzes, please see the professor.

    In case of absence from the midterm or missed assignment,

    there will be no make-up midterm/assignment.

    Grade Appeals

    Appeals regarding assignments and project grades should be

    addressed to the TA first.

    If you and the TA cannot agree, then you can discuss the

    situation with the instructor.

    Appeals for midterm marks must be addressed to the

    professor.

    Appeals must occur within 10 days from the first day that the

    marks were made available to students. After the 10 days, the

    appeal will not be considered.
