The Unipod concept was created from collaboration between Jean Nouvel and Troll and is based on recreating the effect of natural light falling on plants, to project an allegorical play between light and shade. The stylized, pole-like profile of Unipod shies away from the heavy look of the much larger columns common in public lighting. The slant of the column gives it dynamism and enables it to come closer to the elements to be illuminated.

Full range of public lighting luminaires, with a slightly slated column in a stylized profile. The sets of diffusers can be adjusted to various heights, either singly or in groups of two or three luminaires. The diffusers are crowned by an upper reflector which prevents unwanted light from being emitted.

Column

Made in steel and galvanized. Option for grey paint.Column Ø 114 mm.Base reinforced by welded plates. Tilted at 5º to the vertical.

The column has two doors for making connections and derivation options.

The upper part of the lighting column is crowned by a galvanized metal cap.

Columns are galvanized or painted with protective grey paint. Option for anti-graffiti treatment depending on local regulations (Please ask). Available heights:

- 4 meters (for fitting 1 luminaire)- 6 meters (for fitting up to 2 luminaires)- 8 meters (for fitting up to 3 luminaires)

Fitting

Made of machined and welded aluminum. The optics system wraps the bulb in high-reflecting, specular anodized aluminum to provide a symmetrical extensive beam. The diffusers are crowned by an upper reflector which prevents unwanted light from being emitted.They can be positioned at different working heights, there are up to three, pre-set fitting positions, with three angular positions at 120º at each height. Option to fit luminaires singly, or in groups of two or three. Protective glass. IP65

Metal halide, HIT-CE 70W, 100W, 150 W.Lamps are controlled from an electronic unit for metal halide lamps. The adjustable model is only available for power of 100-150 W through the DALI interface.Lamps and control units included.

Bolts embedded in concrete.The luminaires are fitted at 1 meter from the upper part of the column. If there is more than one luminaire, they must be fitted 1 meter apart.All elements required for fitting are supplied with the column.
