Slide 2 By Mitchell and Yi Slide 3 Plantations are large farms where African Americans worked as slaves to plant crops. Slide 4 Slaves are African Americans that were forced to work for whites. Slide 5 Southern states had slaves, including Virginia and North Carolina Slide 6 Slaves grow rice, okra, Tania, black-eyed peas, guined melon, and yams. Slide 7 Male slaves were treated bad; they had to plant crops and carry logs and do most of the outside work. Slide 8 Girls were treated bad but not bad as the boys, they had to was dishes, clean the rooms and wash clothes. Slide 9 Slaves were sold by their owners that have a lot of slaves. They were bought by other white people. Slaves were sold for 50 to 100 coins. Slide 10 The End
