Clculo del rea Raster En ArcGIS 9.3.1 pregunta

Se pregunta si alguien por ah sabe que la mejor manera de calcular el rea de un mapa de bits, es

decir, las diferentes reas para diferentes tipos de uso de la tierra en un condado? He intentado

hacer estadsticas zonales dentro de Spatial Analyst. Voy en la direccin correcta al hacer esto, o

hay una mejor manera? Gracias por su respuesta.

Raster de uso de la tierra (y otros conjuntos de datos raster categricas) han tablas de atributos,

Mallory. En la mesa hay un campo [count] que indica el nmero de ocurrencias de cada categora.

Multiplicando los recuentos por el cuadrado de la cellsize da la superficie total cubierta por cada

categora.

En lugar de hacer los clculos manualmente con la calculadora de campo, puede ejecutar la

herramienta de Geometra Zonal con el parmetro "Tipo de geometra" ajustado "Area". Este es el

valor predeterminado.

Si usted tiene muchos condados y desea un resumen de cada uno, a continuacin, ejecute la

Herramienta Tabulate Area.

Re: Calculating Raster Area In ArcGIS 9.3.1 QuestionLand-use rasters (and other categorical raster datasets) have attribute tables, Mallory.In the table is a [count] field showing the number of occurrences of each category.

Multiplying the counts by the square of the cellsize gives the total area covered by

Thanks. This is very helpful--[count] x square root of cell-size = area. I am guessingyou calculate this using the field calculator.

Mallory,

Rather than doing the calculations manually with the field calculator, you can runtheZonal GeometryTool with the "Geometry Type" parameter set to "Area". This is the

default.

If you have many counties and want a summary for each, then run theTabulate

Area Tool.
