Pure beeswax is mixed with a unique combination of natural oils and applied to the leather. The leather is then left over several days, after which a combination of heat and pressure is applied. The formula is absorbed deep into the leather conditioning the natural fibres and filling the pores which prevents cracking. This process makes the leather extremely soft, supple and up to 30% stronger. Due to this meticulous process, oiling this product straight after purchasing is not essential. As with all leatherwork, Caldene do advise cleaning and conditioning this product regularly to ensure it stays at it’s very best.
