Calibration scripts addition to the interface terminal (Procom Plus) makes the calibration activity easier and faster. This document will help understand the correct sequential execution of each script corresponding to a particular activity

Scripts for TX and RX calibration are required to be added to Procom Plus to make the activity easier and less time consuming. These are list of commands for specific activities, which run automatically on a single click, and the desired output is achieved.

Scripts LocationAdd the script files to the following location

C:\ Program Files\ Procom Plus\Aspect

All scripts are automatically picked up from Aspect file by Procom plus software

Meta KeysMeta Keys are user defined buttons to directly execute a script or a command.

To create a Meta Key, following steps are required

Select tools and go to Meta Key Editor

To create a key for a simple command, select key location in Meta Key Select, under the action tab, select “send text” in the drop down menu (against Alt),

Under the contents write down the command with ^M at the end (^M means enter)For example command to change level chg_l^M

Label the key with desired name under the tab label

To create key for a script execution, select key location in Meta Key Select, under the action tab, select send text in the drop down menu (against Alt)

Exact name of the script file is required for the script to run, for example in case of TX calibration of CTU1, script name is ALARM_OFF_TX.

RX Calibration ScriptsIn RX calibration of CTU1, Alarm_Off_Rx script is required to be run before RX_Bay1 or RX_Bay2 script.

To Run ALARM_OFF_RX script in CTU1: Press Alt+F3 to open Compile/Edit Aspect File, it can be opened from main toolbar as well Select CTU 1 Select RX

Now highlight Alarm_OFF_RX.WAS and click on compile and run

Commands execution relating to Alarm_Off_Rx will automatically start

To Run RX_bay1 script in CTU1 Press Alt+F3 to open Compile/Edit Aspect File Select CTU1 Select RX Highlight RX_bay1 click Edit

Note that RX_Bay1script is always used for Duplexer of 0A, 1A and 2A (A Brach of SURF), it means that the signal generator will be connected to a Duplexer with RX path on 0A, 1A or 2A

Following window will open, it is the RX_Bay1 script, edit the Antenna select 1, 2 or 3ANT 1 for 0AANT 2 for 1AANT 3 for 2A

Save the script after editing, now again highlight RX_Bay1 and click Compile and Run

To Run RX_bay2 script in CTU1 Press Alt+F3 to open Compile/Edit Aspect File Select CTU1 Select RX Highlight RX_bay2 click Edit

Note that RX_Bay2 script is always used for Duplexer of 0B, 1B and 2B (B Brach of SURF), it means that the signal generator will be connected to a Duplexer with RX path on 0B, 1B or 2B

In CTU2 RX calibration (double and single density), there is only one script to be run, RX_Double for double density CTU2 and RX_Single for single density CTU2.

To run RX_double script for CTU2 Press Alt+F3 or direct click from tool bar to open Compile/Edit Aspect file Select CTU2 Select RX Highlight RX Double and press Edit, following window will open. Select ANT “0A 0B” “1A 1B” or

“2A 2B” depending on weather RX Path of the DRI is through 0A 0B, 1A 1B or 2A 2B.

To run RX _single script for CTU2Single density CTU2 requires RX single script. Weather a CTU2 is of single density or double, it can be found out by checking the DRI equipage

Open compile/edit Aspect file window Select RX Select CTU2 Highlight RX Single script and press edit. Edit ANT Select “0A 0B” “1A 1B” “2A 2B” according to

the RX Path

TX Calibration ScriptsIn case of CTU 1 in HMAC I BTS, two scripts are required to be run in the sequence as follows

ALARM_OFF_TX script for CTU1 Press Alt+F3 Select TX Select CTU 1 Highlight Alarm_Off_Rx and click “compile and Run”

SAVE_CAL_TX script for CTU1 Press Alt+F3 Select TX Select CTU1 Highlight Save_Cal_Tx and click “Compile and Run”

In CTU2 TX calibration (double and single density), there is only one script to be run, TX_Double for double density CTU2 and TX_Single for single density CTU2

To run TX_Double for CTU2 Press Alt+F3 to open Aspect file window Select TX Select CTU2 Highlight TX_Double script and click “compile and run”

To run TX_Single for CTU2 Press Alt+F3 to open Aspect file window Select TX Select CTU2 Highlight TX_single script and click “compile and run”
