Call for Peer Reviewers Master Classes and Poster Session Dear Lindau Alumni, The 69th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting, dedicated to physics, is taking place 30 June–5 July 2019. Continuing the development of the last few years, young scientists will have opportuni- ties to present their research to the Nobel Laureates and the Lindau community in the form of Master Classes and Poster Sessions. As in 2018, we’d like to offer Lindau Alumni the opportunity to give back and help shape the discussions at the upcoming Lindau Meeting by becoming peer reviewers in the review pro- cess for the Master Classes and Poster Sessions. As Lindau Alumni, you’re closely connected to current, cutting-edge research and have already experienced the “Lindau Spirit”. You are in a unique position to review the work of the new young scientists. We’re looking forward to excellent results from this continued cooperative effort. The review process will include roughly 500 abstracts in total. The abstracts for the Master Classes will be addressing predefined topics. There are no thematic limitations for the poster classes. The abstracts will be in English and not longer than one page. Typically, the abstracts are primarily texts with an occasional image or formula. Ideally, we would like to have at least 30 Lindau Alumni reviewers from around the world. Each reviewer will have approximately 50 abstracts to review. Criteria for the reviewers: – Lindau Alumni – Excellent academic track record in physics – Post-doc or higher The review phase will begin in mid-April. Further details will be forthcoming. If you are interested in applying to be a reviewer and meet the criteria, please send a short statement of motivation and, if applicable, relevant updates to your CV to Christoph Schumacher at [email protected] until 7 April 2019.

The 69th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting, dedicated to physics, is taking place 30 June–5 July 2019. Continuing the development of the last few years, young scientists will have opportuni-ties to present their research to the Nobel Laureates and the Lindau community in the form of Master Classes and Poster Sessions.

As in 2018, we’d like to offer Lindau Alumni the opportunity to give back and help shape the discussions at the upcoming Lindau Meeting by becoming peer reviewers in the review pro-cess for the Master Classes and Poster Sessions. Ideally, we would like to have at least 30 Lindau Alumni reviewers from around the world. Each reviewer will have approximately 50 abstracts to review.

Criteria for the reviewers:

The review phase will begin in mid-April. Further details will be forthcoming.
