Call for proposal:
Festival "Dance in the City" 2014
„Dance in the city“ is a contemporary dance festival in urban landscapes that is held every
year in Belgian and German cities.
The festival will take place from the end of August until the 6th of September 2015.
For our 11th edition we are looking for high quality creations as well as a Hip-Hop/Street
Dance production!
The artists / groups who apply must adapt their work (max. 15-20 minutes) to an outside
urban space. Choreographers must be able to create appropriate responses to this original
environment.
How to apply? Send us an application form with your contact information, a description of the performance; your financial expectation and a demo DVD (max 15-20 minutes). These data should be sent by postal mail with a DVD. If this request isn’t met, the applications will not be taken into consideration. Please, fill out our registration form, which is available on our website: www.irene-k.be DEAD LINE: 15th of December 2014.
You will be informed about the selection in May 2015.
