Hello fellow Lion's!
I'm happy to announce we have decided on a theme for this year's Pinedorado! Thank you to Jade Lehrman for the great idea of
"The Roaring 20's"Since it's Lion's club and we roar, since it's 2020, it's a great theme we can play off of in our attire and decoration. I'm open to suggestions.
With the latest health scare of the Coronavirus, we are as a society dealing with somewhat of a new challenge. Once again I'm happy we live in a somewhat isolated place as Cambria. As airplane bookings and travel are affected, so too are worldwide events such as the Summer Olympics and large festivals. It will be an interesting time for us, one to learn from.
As of now the Eroica vintage bike event looks to proceed. There are volunteer signups at the eroicacalifornia.com website and it's imperative we make a showing as an organization. If anyone would prefer to help out with the pub and sell beer, that too is probably most important to cover. We will keep all the profits from the alcohol sales.
Everyone who knows Jim Wilson knows and remembers how vibrant and full of life he is. Jim contributed massively to our club's successes of years past. Please give him a call. He would like to hear from you
Here's to the health of the rest of us, let's embrace the rains to come and get outside to enjoy the spring that will follow!
