For groups larger than 10 candidates, please contact us in case you wish to organise the exam on your premises. The exam fee is 260 lei per exam level. Indicate your choice by putting a tick () in the tables below:

1. The registration requires the following steps:
Filling in the registration form
Paying the registration fee You can transfer the money from a bank where you have an account or from Banca Transilvania if you do not have a bank account, into our account at Citibank Europe plc, Dublin – Bucharest, beneficiary British Council Exams, fiscal registration code C.U.I. no. 9000 0000 26598, account number IBAN RO88 CITI 0000 0008 2601 2196. Please write the candidate name and the name of the exam on the ordin de plată in the section reprezentînd. Please do not pay your fee at the post office.

If you have special needs related to a disability, you need to let us know upon registration.
2. Checking your registration
All candidates should receive a confirmation of their registration by email approximately two weeks before the examination’s date. This email does not contain any details related to the days of exam and is a mere confirmation of your entry being processed. If you do not receive this email, you need to contact us urgently at 021-3079600 or [email protected].

The British Council and the Examining Boards take all reasonable steps to provide continuity of service. We feel sure you will understand, however, that we cannot be held responsible for any interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control. If examinations or their results are disrupted, cancelled or
delayed, every effort will be made to resume normal service as soon as possible. The British Council’s liability will be limited to the refund of the registration fee or re-testing at a later date.

3. Exam details and schedule All three papers of the examination (Reading & Writing, Listening and Speaking) take place on the same day. All candidates should receive by email all the administrative details related to the exam day (exam timetable, location, requirements), at least one week before the examination date. If you have not received this email, it is your responsibility to contact the Examinations Section at the British Council Bucharest for details (021-307 96 00; [email protected]). On the examination day the candidates are only admitted in the exam room provided they have with them a copy of their ID (e.g. birth certificate, student’s grade record etc.), a pen, a pencil, an eraser and coloured pencils/pens. 4. Refunds If a candidate can’t sit the examination, he/she may be refunded the exam fee provided that a written request from the parent / legal guardian is made to the British Council Examinations Services. These requests should be made to the British Council Examinations Services no later than five days after the exam day, either in person or by e-mail, at [email protected]. 5. Results Results / certificates are issued to candidates approximately 4 weeks after the exam. You will be notified via e-mail when certificates can be collected.
