CAMBRIDGE YOUNG LEARNERS ENGLISH TESTS (YLE) English for 7 to 12 year olds
These tests are especially designed for young learners between the ages of 7 and 12 years, learning
English at primary school There are 3 levels: STARTERS, MOVERS, FLYERS. The objectives of these tests are: - To test the child’s level of English in a precise but fair way. - To give pupils a positive impression of international testing. - To promote knowledge and efficient learning techniques. - To encourage future knowledge and learning. Each exam consists of three papers: ! Listening Comprehension ! Reading and Writing ! Speaking Results: The exam papers, once completed, are sent Cambridge for correction. The results are given in the form of shields (maximum of 5 shields per exam paper) in order to encourage pupils in a positive manner. All candidates receive a diploma certificate outlining their strengths and congratulating their participation in the exam. ENROLMENT DEADLINE : Friday 11th March 2016. The exam will take place at the school on Wednesday 25th May 2016. You will be informed of the exact times of the exam at a later date.
