1110U/D Magazine Handler
STANdARd pROdUcTS
The 1110U Magazine Un-loader and 1110D Magazine Loader are designed to remove unprocessed devices from loaded magazines and onto a manufacturing line or into a processing cell and feed processed parts back into empty magazines. Martek Automation’s 1110U/D sets the standard for small footprint, high capacity Magazine Handling Equipment.
These Magazine Handlers are SMEMA compatible and can be configured for many different types of magazines. Sizes can range from as little as 2 inches up to 6 inches in width and lengths of up to 12 inches.
Martek Automation has experience feeding all types of devices from small packages on Auer type or Machined Carriers to individual PCB’s and Ceramic Substrates. Heavy duty welded steel frame constructionprovides maximum rigidity and reliability.
Special features of the machine are the ability to load and unload magazines on the fly for uninterrupted production or to pause the machine for reloading.

IC3000 Work/Inspection Station
STANdARd pROdUcTS
The IC3000 Work/Inspection Station is a flexible modular work station that can be used for multiple purposes. The on-board conveyor accepts product from upstream systems or from Martek Automation’s 1110U Magazine Un-loader and positions them at the work station for assembly, rework, or inspection processes. When completed, the system conveys the product downstream to the next station or back into Martek Automation’s 1110D Magazine Loader. Multiple configurations are available to meet your specific needs.
These systems are SMEMA compatible and width adjustable from 2 inches to 6 inches. The system will automatically convey boards or carriers on a stepper motor driven edge belt conveyor to the operator work station. Heavy duty welded steel frame construction provides maximum rigidity and reliability.
The station can be configured with a simple sensor stop or with lift and locate tooling for assembly processes requiring more accuracy. Many inspection options are available from Illuminated Magnifiers, Stereo Microscopes on a manual X, Y Stage, and Video Inspection to fully automated Vision Inspection, Bar Code Readers and Data Aquisition capabilities.

CM1000 Conveyor Module
STANdARd pROdUcTS
The CM1000 is a stand alone in-line conveyor that can be configured for multiple applications. The heavy duty steel frame and on board PLC allows for easy integration of special tooling and hardware to meet your process needs. The system can be integrated with Pre-heat and Post-cool tooling, Vision Inspection, Visual Inspection, Bar Code Readers, Dispense System, and many other processes. In addition, it can be configured as a single, dual, or three stage conveyor with lengths up to 54 inches for buffering of product.

HS500 Heater Stage
STANdARd pROdUcTS
The HS500 is a stand alone system that can be integrated into a pick and place robotic work cell for clamping, heating, and purging the environment with inert gas of Micro Electronic packages in an Eutectic Die Attach process.
The HS500 operates to a maximum of 450ºC. The included Control Station allows for instant access to information through easy-to-read gauges. Automatic mode allows for remotely controlling the clamp and shutter systems. Manual setting of gas pressure and flow, inactivity timer to shut off gas flow, and temperature settings are all done through the Control Station. In addition, manual toggle switches allow opening and closing of clamps and shutters and turning heaters on and off. Precision leveling devices allow for easy set up of height and levelness to your process head and the rugged construction allows for 24/7 operation.

M1200 FIFO/LIFO Buffer
STANdARd pROdUcTS
The M1200 FIFO/LIFO Buffer accumulates product whenever a downstream system is not available in order to keep the line running smoothly. Martek Automation’s unique design of utilizing standard extruded type magazines allows an operator to introduce or remove product from the line easily. Three modes of operation are: 1) FIFO/LIFO mode, which receives parts in from the upstream system and feeds them out to the downstream in either a FIFO or LIFO process, 2) Load only, which receives parts in but does not feed them out so the operator can physically remove them, or 3) Un-load only, in which the operator physically puts parts in the magazine and the system feeds parts out but does not feed them in. In addition, the input conveyor can be fitted with a pause switch and a visual inspection station can be added to give you even more capabilities in a small footprint. These flexible features and Martek Automation’s experience in the Micro Electronics Industry give you the maximum control over your process with an affordable solution.

M2100 X,Y Positioning System
STANdARd pROdUcTS
The M2100 is a unique motion platform which moves the product under the process head instead of the process head over the product. This gives the user many more choices since there is not a weight constraint on the process head. Multiple processes can also be performed on one platform. Many processes can be integrated to include those such as Vision Inspection, In Circuit Testing, Dispensing, Welding, or Soldering. Speed and accuracy performance can be configured for the application to avoid unnecessary costs. The onboard PC allows you to integrate Data Acquisition Software for process control. The system can be configured as a manually loaded, in-line or magazine to magazine station.

Machined Carriers
STANdARd pROdUcTS
When precision and reliability are the main factors, Machined Carriers meet your process needs. These carriers can be thermally cycled without changing flatness or accuracy. Some of our customers have had their carriers in process for 15 years without any noticeable changes. All styles and sizes of carriers are available.

The CM1000-01/02 is a stand alone, in-line conveyor that is configured for heating or cooling Micro-electronic/Hybrid packages. The system is integrated with lift and clamp tooling that is capable of pre-heating your parts to process temperature to avoid delays in the process station, or to cool parts in a post-heated process to allow operators to handle parts comfortably. The heavy duty steel frame and on-board PLC allows for easy integration of special tooling and hardware to meet your specific process needs. The system can also be integrated with Bar Code Readers for data logging. In addition, it can be configured as a single, dual, or three stage conveyor with lengths up to 48 inches for buffering of product.

Martek product: Loader/Unloader, Loader, Unloader February 22, 2006; Bill C., Hewlett-Packard
The Martek tools offered reliable performance and no surprises.
The operator interface is so clear that a new operator can operate
the tool by simply looking at the large interface screen.
In the first year of implementing five Martek loader/unloaders
our cumulative down time was under one hour.
Martek delivered a quality solution with documentation, drawings,
spare parts lists, logic flow charts, and even a superior shipping
crate. Our new tools ran out of the box.
The tool build, wiring, and labeling allowed us to quickly complete
the NRTL electrical inspection.
Martek builds tools with standard components and no surprises.
The standard components shorten the technician learning curve.
