Welcome to Maritime Education & Training in a Digital EraAs World Economic Forum founder Klaus Schwab notes in his book The Fourth Industrial Revolution, although we may not yet know how the technological revolution will unfold, “one thing is clear: the response must be integrated and comprehensive, involving all stakeholders of the global polity, from the public and private sectors to academia and civil society”.

This conference aims to stimulate dialogue amongst stakeholders on the impact of technology on Maritime Education and Training (MET) – both from the perspective of equipping students for the technologically-advanced maritime industry of tomorrow, and the opportunities presented by technology to enhance delivery of education and training.
