The art of deception

For over twenty five years our skilled designers and

craftsmen have produced decorative fibreglass plant

containers that even the keenest eye cannot

distinguish from the original materials.

Why fibreglass and resin?

A wonderfully tough and versatile material,

fibreglass is maintenance free and light in weight.

Completely frost-proof and non-corrosive, it is

superior to terracotta, stone and even some metals

and is ideal for use inside and out.

Authentic finishes

Weathered bronze, terracotta, lead, aluminium,

copper, stone and even rust. Our finishes are so

authentic, and long lasting, that we have had

planters in some of the world’s most prestigious

homes, gardens, hotels and public buildings for well

over a quarter of a century. Even their owners have

forgotten they are made of fibreglass.

The real thing

We can also make planters in real lead, using

traditional sand cast methods to produce products

of extra style and quality. More recently, we have

begun to use wood and metal... so that now we can

make planters out of any material (except terracotta

or stone).

Working to a brief

From your plans or drawings we can reproduce any

design in any size or quantity, from one to one

thousand and more. Alternatively, we can aid you at

the design stage, so you can achieve the results you

desire. These bespoke projects now represent a

quarter of our work (see page 63 for more details).

master plasterer, renowned for his work in restoring the fine

elaborate ceilings in the City of London after World War 2.

water shortages, collecting rainwater is

A useful addition to many of our planters is our

ability to add a false floor at any level so that the

planting depth can be reduced. Superb for flower

arranging, exhibitions and temporary displays (we

use them at all our exhibitions). Specify your

requirements or speak with our team of experts.

Feet

Some of our planters come with

integral feet, some do not. If

you would like additional

feet added to help

drainage or just for the

aesthetics, we can do this with

our hidden matching feet.

Pallet bases

We can raise or insert bases into our larger planters

to enable them to be moved easily by forklift or by

pallet truck.

Taps

Brass taps can be fitted to all

tanks and planters to facilitate

their use as an attractive water

storage solution. Handy in summer when water is in

short supply.

Water reservoirs

A proven design used commercially in the trade for

many years. The tank is placed 45cm below the

roots and water is released by capillary action. They

are easy to fill and have an integral water level

indicator. Use individually or link for larger

Hidden wheels

Concealed within the base, they are a very useful

addition to larger planters. They enable tender

plants to be moved

easily. They facilitate

cleaning and provide

an option for moveable

living screens in any

setting. We supply a

variety of wheels (with or without brakes) and offer

a bespoke solution for any situation.

Lighting

Working closely with a number of leading outdoor

lighting manufacturers, we can fit lights to most of

our planters to light the way or just to enhance the

evening ambience.
