Welcome to the KGS Friends Careers in Engineering Evening for Year 11 and Sixth Form pupils who are interested in developing careers in engineering or energy. This event will provide a great opportunity to gain an insight into the industry, guidence on the qualifications or experiences that are most valuable and advice on how to get ahead. You will have the opportunity to meet members from the Institute of Chemical Engineers and the Energy Institute, as well as Old Kingstonians and other professionals working in the engineering and energy sectors to gain an in-depth understanding of the subject.

Thank you to The Worshipful Company of Scientific Instrument Makers for allowing us to use the beautiful Glaziers Hall for our event. Thanks also to Gopal Srinivasan (OK 1961) and Claire Saul (OK 1987) for their invaluable help in organising this event.

On the following pages you will find further information on our hosts, who will be based in the River Room and Court Room. Refreshments will be served in the Library break-out-room throughout the evening.

Please make your way to the River Room for a welcome speech at 6.30pm.
