Carlos Quenedit Hometown: Havana, Cuba Carlos Quenedit was trained at the National Ballet School of Havana. He was a principal dancer with San Francisco Ballet and with Ballet de Monterrey as well as a soloist with the National Ballet of Cuba and guest artist with the Joffrey Ballet, Royal Winnipeg Ballet, and Houston Ballet. Carlos performed many principal roles including, Helgi Tomasson’s Nutcracker, Romeo & Juliet, Swan Lake;Tomasson/Possokhov’s Don Quixote; George Balanchine’s Tchaikovsky Pas de Deux, The Nutcracker, Divertimento No.15, Allegro Brillante, Brahms-Schoenberg Quartet, The Four Temperaments, Concerto Borocco, Ballet Imperial, Serenade, Symphony in C and Symphony in Three Movements; Bubeníček’s Gentle Memories, Van Manen’s Variations for Two Couples; McGregor’s Borderlands, Nureyev’s Raymonda; Page’s Guide to Strange Places;Possokhov’s Classical Symphony; Francesca da Rimini’s RAkU and The Rite of Spring; Ratmansky’s Seven Sonatasand Shostakovich Trilogy (Symphony #9); Jerome Robbins’ In the Night and Dances at a Gathering; Liam Scarlett’s Fearful Symmetries and Christopher Wheeldon’s Cinderella, Continuum, Number Nine.He joined MCB as a principal dancer in 2019.
