• Sharon is a 9 year-old Caucasian girl that lives with her parents and 2 younger siblings. Client is currently in the fourth grade is performing at an average level without any special accommodations.

• The case was conceptualized based on information that had been gathered during the initial intake interview, rapport building, documentations from previous sessions, previous medical reports, school reports, collateral data from the parents, and other records from the clients past.

• The collected data was thoroughly analyzed and with the results, types and forms of behavioral therapies and theoretical interventions were compiled into a treatment plan to assist the client as well as her family with healing from the traumatic event.

• Based on the presenting problem of the client, the following theoretical therapies and interventions were decided upon.– Narrative therapy-for parents and child (Newsome & Gladding, 2014, p.

272).– Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy-for individual therapy– Familial-therapy-for the entire family to be involved in the healing

process (Newsome & Gladding, 2014, p. 274).– Group therapy for the client (Henderson & Thompson, 2016, p. 417).
